For most people who exercise, the goal is to lose 20 pounds and stop gasping and gasping each time they climb the stairs. But this may not be the right goal. Maybe it’s time to redefine the word exercise. We can think of it as a half hour on the stair master, but rather as any form of movement that combines our bodies with our minds and spirits. When we think about exercise in this redefined way, it is no longer about losing 20 pounds, but about living a better life. Redefining exercise in this way can give us the freedom to find pleasant sports activities, and this enjoyment (rather than our goal of losing 20 pounds) will help us stick to our program.

Today’s mission
Exercise in the way you like, such as playing games with your kids, riding a bike or taking a walk with important other people.
