New dildo peeling?

Hi 👋 I recently got my first dildo for my 18th birthday and I’ve only used it 4 or 5 times so far. I noticed the silicone on the ball is peeling off a bit? It’s like someone dug their fingernails into it and scraped it until the silicone ripped. I noticed this the third time I used it but I just ignored it, but now I’m a little worried…not because it’s getting worse, just because I feel like it shouldn’t be done… …because I’m new to using dildos and I’m not rough on myself, so it can’t be because of this (if that’s even a possible reason). I washed it with warm water and body wash, patted it dry and dusted it with cornstarch powder like the lady said when I bought the toy (I also have a wrapper so I’m used to this process) and it’s already a little scratched By the way, when I first washed it. Has anyone else experienced this? Do I need to buy a new dildo? I would post a picture to show what it looks like but for some reason I can’t (still new to Reddit).
