Can I believe this toy is actually silicone?

A moderator deleted my previous post with no explanation – I have no idea what rule I broke. (I’m not advertising) I bought this Bang 21x Vibrating Butt Plug from Adam and Eve. (Yes, I know, I should have done some research).[They claim here that this toy is silicone and “body safe”. Do you believe them? When I lit it with a flame, it didn’t crackle, but flaked off and formed a layer of white ash. Is this enough to determine if it’s safe? Or should I learn my lesson and throw this thing away?
