Does the vibrator need to be heated?
I just bought a Lovense Edge 2 and wanted to test it out before using it to make sure everything was working and if something was wrong it wasn’t going to be in me. So I set it to the lowest vibration setting (turned it on and pressed the button once, I know you can use the app to get to a lower setting but this seemed like a good baseline) and let it run for a while, checking it every once in a while. Eventually I noticed that both places where the motors are were heating up. Not exactly hot but fairly warm and I felt like they might overheat if I left it on. I let it cool down and then tested it again and it took about 8 minutes of continuous vibration for the motors to get noticeably hot. This is the first vibrating toy I’ve ever owned so I’m wondering if this is just something that happens with all vibrators or if I may have bought a defective one? I know the Edge 2 is a very popular toy so hopefully other owners can chime in but any info is helpful!
