5 Hackers to Manage Astrology Chaos When Saturn Enters
Saturn is our limit, restriction and karmic debt planet and will enter Pisces this week, which brings it a season of high tension and locking angles.
Starting Monday, September 1, Saturn retrogrades from Hellfire in Aries to a fever dream in Pisces.
This is the last slow dance on Earth, and it will remain until April 2028 until it re-enters Aries on February 13.
Saturn retrograde in Pisces 2025
“This kind of transportation will serve as a mode of censorship that forces you to revisit all the emotional and spiritual work that Saturn might have overlooked before entering Aries in the last two years,” explains Gamblizard’s astrologer Ashley Boyd.
Saturn retrograde in Pisces takes us back to the past, where we face deep-rooted patterns, avoidance, permeability boundaries, and other emotional plankton and docks.
This intense inner work both invites and amplifies the conflict between personal and professional aspects, turning us into warfish if you will.
Fortunately, we willful, therapist Jaime Bronstein encountered five psychological hacks on the deck to alleviate conflicts with colleagues, friends and lovers during this period and beyond.
Switch seat, switch viewing angle
Brownstein shared that when treating couples, she uses an exercise called an “empty chair.”
“You switch positions with another person (literally sitting in their chair) and reiterate their point of view as if you were them. This practice is very rehabilitating and brings a wealth of insight that improves your relationship. In fact, you express a high signal by showing compassion in your actions.”
This strategy works well for couples and can also be easily applied to challenging dynamics with friends and colleagues.
Dissolution of conflict
Brownstein insists that eliminating conflict will reduce the defensive capabilities between warring factions and enable people to be like a problem rather than contradict each other.
“Instead of saying, ‘You always bother me,’ try: ‘We have a pattern of bothering.’ No matter what the situation is, it’s better to avoid using “forever” and “forever” because the other party may become defensive.”
Third person hacker
Brownstein suggests that when the temper is grumpy, combatants convert their own self-talk into third person.
“Rather than saying ‘I can’t believe this is happening’, you can say ‘Sarah is frustrated right now, but she can handle it.”
In 2020, a University of Michigan study found that using “distance self-talk” can reduce stress, enhance emotional regulation, and enable individuals to express themselves more effectively during conflict.
“Keeping the space between you and frustration can help you reach less emotional state.”
Living and fighting through 90 seconds of rules
Brownstein cites the work of neuroscientist Jill Bolte Taylor, whose 90-second rule is based on a science that when triggered, the body’s chemical reaction lasts about a minute and a half, as long as we avoid adding more well-known fuel to the fire.
“Any time conflict is ignited, a timer is set. In 90 seconds, be aware of this feeling. Usually, waves pass through, allowing quiet swap space. Understanding your own feelings is a game-changer.”
Flip the script
“When blaming, ask, ‘What should I do if it’s the opposite?’ For example, if you convince your colleagues to “disrespect you,” test the opposite: ‘What should I do if they respect me but are under pressure?’” Bronstein said.
She stresses the importance of empathy, especially when we are triggered by conflict.
“You never know what’s going on in someone’s life, so being compassionate and avoiding assumptions can help. Recomposing can eliminate from the situation and create another approach.”
