Last Friday, I discussed the need to quarantine marriages. But what do you do?
- Check draft: Are you nagging her or making negative comments? Need to stop the flow of air coming out of your mouth!
- Isolate her with praise: Tell her repeatedly how beautiful and wonderful she is. This creates a thick layer of insulation that keeps the cold out and keeps the warmth in.
- seal cracks: Don’t leave too little space between what you promise and what you do. Being a person of your word can help her stay warm.
- double glazed windows: In other words, watch your eyes. If you watch other women or porn, she will feel it even if she doesn’t see you doing it. When this is not present, she retains heat better.
- Keep a blanket handy: Hugs are powerful, reassuring, comforting, and feel safe. Does she know you wrap your arms around her every time she feels cold?
- Have thick, solid walls: Establish healthy boundaries to protect your marriage, including limiting your relationships with other women.
- buy thick curtains: Certain parts of a marriage should not be made public and should be kept secret.
- Learn about the seasons: When a marriage is cold, don’t force her to do things for you.
- provide shade: Good insulation also blocks unwanted heat, such as the heat it absorbs from your work or family.
- Ventilate as needed: Some modern homes are very “strained” and the air becomes unhealthy. Privacy is necessary, but make sure there’s enough input from others to keep your marriage healthy.
