A new analysis has revealed the countries with the largest average breast sizes, with the United States coming in second.

The report, published by the World Population Review, analyzed average bust sizes in 108 countries around the world and found which countries had the largest average bust sizes and which ones fell short of the norm.

“Each woman’s breast size is unique and is influenced by multiple factors, including genetics, nutrition and diet, weight and body mass index (BMI), fitness level and age,” the report authors wrote, adding, The average cup size per woman per country varies between AA and C.

Researchers note that BMI is closely related to breast size, with a higher BMI generally leading to larger breasts.

However, Norway is an exception. The country’s average BMI is lower than other countries, at 26.2, but the Scandinavian country takes the crown for the largest busts, with the average cup size falling between C and D.

The US ranks second with an average BMI of 29 and a C cup size, while the UK has an average BMI of 27.1 and an average cup size of C.

However, the smallest average bra size is found in Greenland, where researchers say the average cup size is A and the body mass index is 26.7.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a BMI over 25 and under 30 is considered overweight, while a BMI over 30 is defined as obese.

“Overall, it is striking that breast size often increases in countries where obesity is also a problem,” World Data researchers reported last year, when they announced that Norway, Iceland, the United Kingdom and the United States were the countries with the largest breast sizes .

“The female breast is largely composed of fatty tissue and glands. The shape of the breast is determined not only by genetic factors but also by the fat content and composition of the connective tissue.”

Bra size is determined by measuring the band or “underbust” size (indicated by a number) and the fullest part of the breast (indicated by a letter).

“The greater the difference between these measurements, the larger the cup size,” the researchers explained.

“It’s important to remember that not all sizes within a given cup size are the same. For example, a 32C will have a much smaller volume than a 42C because of the greater difference in band size and the fuller part of the breast.”
