What should my first toy be?

I finally want to buy my first toy. I’m leaning toward using a vibrator, but I’m open to anything! I’ve never bought a sex toy so I’m looking for some advice! I still live with my parents (there’s no way I can afford school and living on my own, haha), so I’m looking for a quieter toy. Being waterproof would be an added bonus! I don’t want to spend too much money on this since it’s my first toy, but I know good quality costs money. I’m also from Canada so I know there are some things I don’t have access to! Thank you! ! !
