WeVibe App

We just got a We Vibe toy and it works great, except we find that the Distance Play section of the app is full of glitches. Failing to see each other online, the controls disappearing, the vibration settings getting stuck on one mode, etc. Does anyone else have these issues?
PS: we are both Pixel users
