Visitors stumble upon the golden treasure of the Czech Republic –
During a hike in Zvičina Hill near Dvůr Králové Nad Labem in the Czech Republic, two people discovered golden objects from the early 20th century, including hundreds of coins, jewelry and cigarette boxes. Various objects, recent age and huge gold make it one of the most special hoards in the Czech archaeological record.
Visitors first discovered a metal tank with a lid on the stone wall at the edge of the field. The ship contains 598 gold coins in 11 stacks wrapped in black fabric. They found a metal box, one containing an unusual combination: 10 bracelets, 16 cigarette boxes, a dinner bag made of fine wire mesh, comb, comb, chain and powder compact. They are all made of yellow metals, probably some gold alloys.
The discoverer immediately handed over the journey to the East Bohemian Museum in Hradeckrálové. The monetists at the museum identified coins from 1808 to 1915, most of which were of French descent, some from Austria-Hungary, Belgium and Ottoman examples, as well as some from Italy, Romania and Russia. The most recent date is not at the time of deposit. Several coins from the Austro-Hungarian Empire have been knocked down and a miniature trace was covered in the 1920s and in the former Yugoslavia province of Serbia or Bosnia-Herzegovina.
So the earliest treasure might have been 1921, but the counter might have been later than that, and then somehow the coins had to reach Bohemia. The location found on the former border between Czech and German settlements suggests that the hoard may have been hidden when Nazi Germany occupied the area and forced the evacuation of Czech residents. Another possibility is that after World War II, when German residents were fired, or in the communist resettlement plan for Czechoslovakia after 1948.
Assuming that the yellow metal object is made of gold, the total weight of gold in the cache is 7 kg (15.4 lbs), coins alone make up 3.7 kg (8 lbs) of the total. Based on this, the current estimated value of the treasure is over 7.5 million Czech crowns ($342,500). The Czech Republic’s Office of Assays is analyzing this finding to determine the metal composition of each object, thereby determining the market value of precious metal content, but of course, their historical value will exceed simple weight. Once the entire treasure is evaluated, the discoverer will receive a legal reward, which in this case will be a big reward. According to Czech law, according to the final decision of the Evaluation Committee, the finger can obtain up to 100% of the market value of the precious materials, or up to 10% of the historical value.
