We have… (in no particular order)
Desire Deluxe Panty Vibrator $89.99
First, remember that Lovehoney’s “Desire” is actually the name of an entire product line. We’re focusing on a specific panty vibrator.
It has 12 speeds and 8 modes, and works up to 8 meters away. It has a curve that sits against your clitoris. This 4-inch silicone toy has decent battery life and is rechargeable. It also has the added value of being 100% waterproof and comes with its own nifty storage case.
However, the reviews give it 3/5 stars because it is quiet. Also, they come with a specific set of briefs. They may have ribbons so they fit more people, but as you know, things like this are never one-size-fits-all and larger people would not be comfortable wearing them.
OhMiBod Club Vibe $119.00
Club Vibe generally does a good job of maintaining its position among the top quality panty vibrators. They also have a 3road It’s a new generation now, so any old hassles, connection issues, or design flaws should be much improved. It has standard silicone and is rechargeable.
But these toys also come with panties, which makes them even less friendly to larger people. Also, for some reason, the toy is not compatible with the app? I guess this is something they are working on. The page also says that it can be used for more than 1 hour, but this time seems a bit short for this type of toy – at least considering the existing hardware and technology that can easily extend these times.
Ferri by Lovense $99.00
Ferry is another product in the growing Lovense collection. It incorporates multiple prototype iterations as well as a lot of customer feedback. It is well designed, made of silicone and waterproof. The remote functionality comes with the remote app that you install on your phone.
The biggest difference with this product is that you don’t need special underwear. It has a strong magnetic clip and can be used with any underwear (it won’t fall out or even shift out of place). That being said, some people may not find the clitoral numbing noticeable enough. But the 3-3.5 hours of use time may be a tempting comparison point.
Bonus points – Ferri (and All Lovense Toys Able to connect to excellent erotic audiobook apps as well as some erotic games).
We-Vibe Moxie $129.00
Moxie looks like Ferri’s sister (or vice versa). This means it has all the advantages – such as magnetic clips, silicone, Smartphone app controland decent power. Stabilization levels and patterns are pretty standard (which isn’t a bad thing).
The downside is mainly the noise level (usually at the highest level). This toy might not be suitable for a quiet dinner, where everyone can hear the noise you make, with the noise level at 10. If you want a wider, longer toy, you might prefer the Moxie over the Ferri.
Fifty Shades Freed, My Body Blooms $180.00
This is another product that has long been in the top 10 (or even the top 5). While I’m not a fan of the books, the toy is well made. It has all the good stuff it should have. It also only has a remote control if you don’t want to go the smartphone route. But there are some things that really annoy me.
First, the sizing of the boxer is worse than the others on this list. Also, charging for 120 minutes to get 60 minutes of playtime feels very unbalanced. I think what happened is that the toy came out after the books, was a top product at the time, but there was no sign of a better product coming out to update the hardware/software. Add in the high price, and it feels like My Body Blooms might lose its ranking in a year or two.
Vibease – $119.00
Vibease is another good option. You can use it in person or from a distance. It’s comfortable to wear with any underwear (you don’t need special panties). But you need underwear to hold it in place, as it doesn’t have clips to hold it in place.
It’s made of safe silicone, and the tip is very pronounced and curved, allowing for more clitoral stimulation than some other panty vibrators (if that’s your thing). It also syncs with audiobooks and has an app with some fun stuff to play with.
Calexotics Silicone Panty Pleaser $72.99
Calexotics products tend to be priced at the lower end of the premium price range. Sex toysOr, if you’re on a very tight budget, they also have cheaper, low-end sex toys. Another good thing is that it works from up to 10 meters away (farther than many other panty vibrators). It has 12 presets that you can cycle through using the included remote control.
However, it takes 70 minutes to charge and only gives 60 minutes of playback (at the highest level). Still, it’s an option worth considering.
I wouldn’t say which is better. They are both pretty decent toys (except I’m wary of Fifty Shades of Grey). Aside from this toy, the price points don’t differ much. Which means it comes down to the design and the bells and whistles.
