Toy size

So my wife and I bought a toy ands it’s the Hankey BBC dildo in small. We clearly under estimated the size of it. To be honest a little nervous. Should we try it? We tried to size it off some of her other dildos which are average in size. Any thoughts or ideas as to how to get it to work or not use it?
