Tokyo’s Art and Photography Festival is back this month

Artober will receive highly anticipated returns this month March Editionbringing together Tokyo-based artists, photographers and creatives to showcase the city’s dynamic creative scenes for a four-day schedule. With a dedicated gallery space and an exciting 4-day event and party program, the festival will take place from March 20-23, a must-visit event for those looking to experience Tokyo’s contemporary art culture.

Tokyo’s creative talent hub

At the heart of Artober is its vast exhibition space, with over 40 emerging and mature artists going to showcase their work. In both galleries, visitors can explore a wide variety of photography, graphic art and mixed media works. The best part? Entering the gallery is completely free.

The festival is organized by the team behind Art, a monthly gathering of creatives for Tokyo – and demonstrates the strengths of the architectural community, with many talented exhibitors participating in regular gatherings.

Thursday, March 20: Game Art: Game and Art Night (6pm to 8pm)

A social night that celebrates many aspects of game design. Meet and chat with other gamers, developers and artists in a relaxing environment and connect with like-minded people.

Thursday, March 20:

Join Yurakucho and Hibiya for photography and take advantage of many photo spots. Take your camera with companions and professionals led by photographer Daiki Hosaka and organizers of the quarterly “Tokyo Street” photography exhibition Daiki Hosaka and Adam Benedictto.

Friday, March 21: Photographers and artists gather (7-10 pm)

Connect with the Tokyo Creative Community during this month’s Art Social event, which aims to share ideas, collaboration and network with artists and photographers.

Saturday, March 22: Tokyo Weekend Magazine Launch Party (7-10 pm)

Join us at the launch event for the first Tokyo Weekend Magazine of the year! Pick up a copy the week before release, meet with the TW team and local creatives, and check out the Artober exhibition.

Sunday, March 23: Trivia True Night with Premiertwo (7 pm-10 pm)

A fun-filled ending quiz night test participants’ knowledge of various topics, consisting of topics that live longer than Pete Premiertwo.

when: Artober will be held from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, March 23. The art space is open to 12:00 to 22:00 every day for exhibitions. Check the Artober schedule for specific event times and fares.
