Tiktok’s “Pearl Earrings Theory” makes women panic

Pearl jewelry usually symbolizes beauty, class and elaborateness. Now, for those exact views, single girls on Tiktok are throwing away women’s work because they think wearing them is to prevent them from meeting qualified bachelors with qualified bachelors.

To prove why men today no longer know how to pursue women, Tiktok created the “Pearl Earring Theory” that women wearing this accessory are seen as daunting, expensive or highly maintained women, qualities that could “scare away” potential suitors.

Add pearls to the red flag list of today’s dating world.

A content creator named Morgan McGuire (@morganmcguire) shared a video expressing her disappointment with this strange theory.

“Recently, I’ve been aware that I’m single for a long time…I just discovered the ‘Pearl Earring Theory’…No wonder I’m single, I wear pearls and it’s really everywhere…I don’t think I look scary.

Her videos have received over 200,000 views – she isn’t the only one who has bothered with social media giving men.

Quickly search for theories about Tiktok and countless videos with women claiming that it is true.

In another video, a woman shows herself wearing a hard, glittering ear accessories that read: “Am I single or is it due to the pearl earring theory?”

Hundreds of people in the comments section of the video either believe in the theory or doubt it.

“This explains everything.”

“Yes, IG. I started wearing pearl earrings since high school (11), and now I’m 27, and always have failed relationships.”

“omygosh I think the pearl theory is that it will make you look pretty and fresh.”

“No. I used to wear pearl earrings a lot, even on my wedding day.”

“Since I was a baby, I’ve been wearing pearl earrings and inheriting my grandma and mom’s pearl earrings and necklaces. Don’t care about that theory. It’s the tradition of FAM.”

While pearls may cause men to run to the hills, red nails may keep coming.

The “red nail theory” is when men are attracted to women with red nail polish because it reminds them of their mothers.

Strange.

User Melisse Martineau said in the video: “I have never been asked a lot on so many dates like I did in the past two or three weeks.”

“I was asked on five or six dates,” she continued in the edit. “I don’t know what this is, but [the red nail theory] It’s real. ”
