TikTok star sues boyfriend after being dumped

Revenge is a dish perfect for virality.

TikTok star Yael Villarreal has publicly shamed his ex-boyfriend and announced a lawsuit against his former lover, who “abruptly” ended their relationship after 18 months together.

In a video posted on December 9, which has now been viewed more than 5 million times, the social media influencer from Monterrey, Mexico, explained exactly why he was going to court.

Villarreal claims his former partner used his credit card to buy a camera for his photographer business while they were still together and promised to pay him back.

“He claimed I gave him the camera as a gift, which is a lie,” he said. “If it was a gift, why did you promise me I would never be short of that money.”

As awkward as the breakup was, Villarreal just wanted his money back.

“I’m not looking for problems, I’m looking for solutions,” he admits. “Since there was no response from him, his mom or his dad, I decided to file the order.”

Once summoned, he uploaded photos online, revealing to friends that he was leaving the country, which was not a “surprise” for Villarreal.

The content creator admitted that this isn’t the first time his ex has taken advantage of his kindness.

Villarreal has shared how his ex-husband kept a full refund on the pair’s two Lana Del Rey tickets and they agreed to split the proceeds despite their split.

“Right now, I don’t expect him to pay me,” he shrugged.

Many people have left messages online to express their support for Villarreal’s unfortunate breakup.

“All your messages have been very polite and I hope you get your money back,” one person admitted.

“So much drama,” another added.

“I feel you,” one TikTok user agreed.
