There are two little guys outside the window

First of all, I’m new to this and very stupid when it comes to trying new things. So uh, yeah me. Please don’t judge TwT Anywho, my first dildo was one of those slim purple ones that was also meant for anal apparently. But it has a weird ass smell. I decided to ignore it because it seemed normal to me. (I now know it’s not) Well, I bought another dildo that was clear and was supposed to mimic dragon scales. I had to hide them and decided to put them in the same box. Both are fine. Tell me why the purple one melts away from the clear one? When I snuck them out again, the clear ones were slimy and no longer usable. The purple suction part is slightly deformed. Still, I threw them all away. So…yay. Can I get some advice here? I don’t want to go through that rollercoaster again. What am I looking for? Which brands are trustworthy? What is beginner-friendly and fool-proof?
