There are good reasons why you want to update your date

No one likes catfish, but many are involved.

You may not look like photos on a dating app than you realize when it comes to Botox, filters, and flattering angles.

But your date may have noticed.

More than 50% of Z and millennial users date people who look very different from profile pictures, according to a new survey by relationship app Hily.

The poll conducted a survey of 3,700 users earlier this month and found that the difference had real consequences for a person’s dating life.

Up to 54% of Gen Z and 62% of Millennials say they either ended their date early or were realizing that their game looked as much as their photos.

And the liar Do Know.

About 45% of Zers and 33% of millennials admit that their profile pictures are “close to their actual appearance”, but not mirror images of the drinks that will appear.

This may be because there is no update in at least six months for one-fifth of women and one-quarter of men. And, unfortunately, time is as fast as the hairline.

But people aren’t confusing it, because only about 10 to 12% say they don’t look like their profile photos.

But why don’t singles update their profile with the latest selfies?

For women, their fear of judging their appearance can lead many to scroll back into the camera roll to find the photos they like.

At the same time, men just feel that updating their profile will not make a difference.

But taking the perfect photo during prime time – please, photos of fish – can help people eventually change the photo.

More than half of women and 44% of men say that this is what prompted them to “edit profiles”, as well as major life changes such as moving or starting a new job, or just a series of disappointing matches.

However, some people always stick to their first choice.

About 19% of women and 14% of men said nothing could convince them to update their profile.

People’s photos aren’t the only part of their profile that hasn’t been changed since they first downloaded the app.

About 20% of women and 17% of men admit that they have never updated the “find” portion of their profile, even though what they are looking for has changed since they started refreshing.
