The poisonous dating trend "monkey branch" is like cheating

Experts say that when it comes to lovers’ feelings and hearts, please quit monsters.

Everyone knows that at least one of their lives is never single – and swings to another in one beau without losing any rhythm.

Dating professionals call it a “monkey string” or “monkey branch”, which is an act of clinging to one partner while placing another behind the current flame.

These serial daily newspapers insist on one partner until the next one can reach it, which is too scary.

But don’t confuse it with Gen Z’s fashion Domali – it’s the same board. Experts warn that monkey serial or monkey branch is about sneak and betrayal.

“Monkey beating and multi-trojan horses are fundamentally different,” explains Angelika Koch, a relationship expert at Taimi.

“Monkey Barring is based on interdependence and is arguably a form of cheating, while Polyamory is based on the ability to love several people in a romantic way and not cheating because everyone agrees.”

As Koch further explains: “People who do this often lack emotional growth because they keep moving in life in a fearful way to avoid the hard work they have done when they recovered from wounds in past love.”

The Master of Love also points out that the “monkey branch” or “monkey keys are ultimately “fear-based actions, often based on interdependence behavior.”

“Many people love the excitement of doing this because it provides the safety that you won’t be alone.”

She stresses that from “one potential partner to another one doesn’t allow you to really grow and know yourself”, what you need to do before any successful relationship – romantic or platonic.

As the post previously reported, this isn’t the only dating trend with attractive names lately.

For example, the elusive street artist-inspired “Bank” describes a partner who slowly becomes emotionally distant – leaving their unsuspecting partner blind, like Banks’ surprise artwork.

Then there are the “submarines” that they disappear for months and just resurface in your DM as if nothing happened, a toxic trend and Ghosters come back casually from dates.

Experts and heartbroken dogs are warned: In The Jungle of Love, beware of the crowds, Banks and the submarines – your heart is not a playground.
