The first Roman helmet found in Denmark in the sacrifice of weapons-

Two iron plates found in the large -scale iron era weapons found near HedenSted Denmark have been found part of the 4th century Roman helmet. This is the oldest iron helmet in Danish history, and the only Roman helmet discovered in the country’s border.

The crown of the helmet has not been found.

Archaeologists believe that after a successful battle, the original works were decomposed into fragments to distribute them in the warriors. The spear head is separated from the rod and the sword -knife film removed from the deposit that they are the warriors of the war agent and split in the fighter jets. Therefore, others may have received the crown of another cheek guard and helmet.

Roman helmets are extremely rare throughout the Scandinavian Peninsula. This helmet on Scandinavian archeological records has no direct similarities, and the only one who is close is from northern Germany and Sweden.
