The dildo hurts me

Recently purchased my first dildo (5″ girth, 6″ length) and had a really bad experience. I didn’t use lube (but I did use saliva) although I was wet enough + I went slow and relaxed myself by breathing. After a few failed attempts I was in so much pain that I couldn’t go any further, and I finally got it in 5″ but it was still too deep. It was really painful to be honest, my dildo is anatomical so it has veins and a noticeable glans. The painful part (at least I think is what causes the pain) is when the underside of the glans is almost pulled along the vaginal wall, since it’s a circumcised penis. Is there any way to fix this? Did I buy the wrong dildo? Also, I will buy lube and try again Extra details – I’ve had sex with much bigger penises before so I’m not sure why it hurts now.
