Tarot astrology chart for each zodiac sign in December 2025

Tarot astrology chart for each zodiac sign in December 2025

Welcome to December, folks.

We are about to emerge from the chaos of the difficult Mercury Retrograde cycle, and by mid-month we will still be in the shadow of Mercury Retrograde. Meanwhile, Venus, our planet of love and attraction, spends December in Sagittarius’s leather quiver, giving us all a chance (pun intended) to reframe our love philosophies, whether it’s breaking up, breaking a pattern, or entertaining an unexpected suitor.

To help guide us through these physical and emotional compass points, author and tarot card reader Kerry Ward has prepared a tarot spread for each zodiac element.

Fire signs – Aries, Leo, Sagittarius

Gemini, take the crown and go home.

Ward notes that fire signs can expect Gemini, or someone who displays the Gemini archetype of curiosity, charm, intelligence, and quicksilver, to come into their lives.

“Someone will trick you, turn things around, and make you reevaluate what you want in a relationship, or what you once had but ignored. Something is coming full circle, and with it comes a fresh insight into a side of love’s nature that you haven’t yet understood,” Ward says.

In contrast, the Capture the Crown card represents leadership, action, and responsibility.

“Don’t look to ‘others’ to take responsibility or make changes, but instead examine your own behaviors, habits, and confidence and how they work together to create the ecosystem of relationships you serve. What would happen if you changed it?”

Meanwhile, Ward says the home card suggests air signs are closer to nesting than they thought.

“Starting or joining your future family is the most important thing. Maybe this weird turn of the screw is the final piece of the puzzle that makes up your own alphabet of love languages. Understanding starts now. Where it leads…you decide.”

Earth signs – Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn

Ward says there will definitely be “pre-energy” around earth signs this December.

“Whether it’s a full-on reunion or just a mental or emotional reminiscence, old acquaintances and old feelings will be brought back.”

She insists, however, that the cards are very clear about how to deal with people from your past: “Don’t do it. Don’t go back to the old situation or dynamic. You left it behind for a good reason.”

She points out that you may be thinking about your ex because your current relationship is suffering from internal and external pressures.

“This time of year, our hype and expectation levels go up, while our energy and time capacity goes down!”

Despite the seasonal push, Ward says you don’t have to pretend to be happy or smart.

“If your relationship requires effort or attention, then keep at it, no matter the occasion or the presence of family. Life goes on. Do the things that require effort. If you know deep down that you are coming to an end, start grieving and preparing for a final goodbye.”

Air signs – Gemini, Libra, Aquarius

Ward notes that air signs may expect Aquarius, or someone who displays the freedom-loving, progressive, eccentric, Aquarius archetype, to emerge and steal the spotlight this month.

“Feel like you’re ready to move into more unconventional territory in your relationships, whether it’s your love life or your wider circle. It’s not about selfishly getting what you need at the expense of others. It’s about crafting a routine of dynamics, routines, and interactions based on your unique chemistry, needs, and shared worldview,” says Ward.

She shares that air signs have the ability to design and attract unusual, unconventional and incredibly effective relationship dynamics.

“Maybe you’re looking for something open, or maybe you’re just looking for social or hobby-based friends. Maybe you’re dreaming of a holiday bash with no strings attached.”

Ward urged all aviation flags to fly their weird flags in the weirdest winds.

“As long as the person you match with has the same requirements, then everything is fair. Don’t let society’s expectations limit you. Just be yourself.”

Free spirit, pause and reflection, well-tended gardens

Ward says that depressing, free-spirited energy will define December for water signs.

“Free spirits can be difficult to fit in in the long run; they often make us feel rejected or inferior. However, you will be the one in control of this dynamic, and you will be the one who decides if it is right for you,” Ward explains.

She noted that water signs may “call time” in a relationship.

“Maybe it’s a brief separation, a time to think about your priorities, or even a ghost. It puts you in a position of power, and maybe your free-spirited suitor realizes you’re worth staying still.”

Use this time and space to allow Aquatics to relax, soak up attraction and connection, and consider future adjustments.

“The relationships you cultivate, honest, and prioritize this month may become your eternal happiness, even if it doesn’t feel good sometimes. Call it growing pains,” she says.
