There are hundreds of fantasy sex toy shops out there selling everything from dragon dildos to werewolf masturbators; it’s hard to keep up if you don’t know where to look. There’s no single news source that can keep you up to date on new products, stock drops/restocks, and sales, and with Etsy no longer a viable platform, finding quality indie toys isn’t easy.
However, with a few key resources, you can get updates on most of your favorite brands, helping you snag a shiny new toy, score a discount, or (if you’re really lucky) win a giveaway. Most of these brands are small businesses and they could really use the support right now, whether it’s making a purchase or sharing their posts on social media.
Where to find updates
blue sky
Many brands have recently switched to Bluesky as their primary social media platform. The Fantasy & Indie Sex Toy Makers Starter Pack is a list of fantasy and indie brands to follow on Bluesky, so you can check out all their updates as they are released. It even includes a nifty “Follow All” button.
Disharmonious
Some manufacturers run their own Discord servers, some just for announcements, while others have active communities. Store specific discord list
Newsletter
If a brand has ever caught your attention, I highly recommend subscribing to their newsletter! Many websites include a newsletter sign-up somewhere on their home page. This will send information straight to your inbox, allowing you to stay up to date on the latest restocks, exclusive sales, and more without having to worry about signing up for a new social media platform.
X/Twitter
this Independent Toy Makers Twitter List Includes many independent brands, putting all their posts into one feed. Many brands are migrating from X/Twitter to Bluesky due to rising toxicity, platform-sanctioned generated AI data scraping, and reduced functionality; while many brands are currently still active on X/Twitter, this may not be the case for some brands in this way.
Additional Information
Fantasy sex toy manufacturers post on multiple platforms, but the above are a pretty reliable way to keep up with most brands I know of.
