So… it’s Octan.

I saw this thing a while ago but I totally misunderstood how it worked. For some reason I thought it was a manual dosing device. Then I read some reviews and the most detailed ones were pretty negative so I passed on it. A week or two ago I saw someone mention it again and noticed that it now has mixed reviews with some mentioning that it might be a good or bad toy depending on the individual. So I looked it up again and learned more about how it actually works and decided to buy one. I’ve only used it once so I’ll try to update later as I actually read a lot of the reviews here and searched and read a ton of old posts about what people thought of things before buying it and maybe someone interested in the Orctan in the future will find this. My initial observations. It’s (almost) silent. I don’t necessarily need total discreetness but I have other things like the Max 2 that I almost never use because it’s too loud. While I don’t need absolute silence I’m pretty sure the Max 2’s sound will be heard by other people in the house and I’m not too fond of advertising what I’m doing but the point is…some people do need as close to quiet as possible and this might be it. It might even be quieter than the Fleshlight to be honest. Cleaning…well, it’s all “open” so any concerns about drying out, mold or other issues are gone. Cleaning is easy. Feel…it’s hard to describe but it does vibrate but forget about the Manta or Hot Octopus type vibrations. I personally find those types of vibrations to be nowhere near as good for me as rubbing/stroking. It’s a less intense vibration but it works with the roller to do all sorts of random rolling, reversing and jamming. You can then clamp it while moving it at whatever angle you want. They say it’s supposed to feel like oral sex and I totally get why they say that. It has a lot to do with its extremely random nature and the softness of the silicone roller. I felt like I was taking a gamble because the other reviews were so negative but I’m glad I took a chance because it feels great and definitely different than any stroker, sleeve, onas or vibrating toy I’ve owned. Another thing is the price…definitely worth it. I’ll try to update after using it if more information adds anything but man…I really love it.
