“Smile” may reveal a person’s “talent”
They say a smile is worth a thousand words – but apparently it can also reveal a lot more than that.
The latest viral craze on social media claims you can tell a person’s “talent” by their smile, and the gossip on social media just won’t stop.
According to TikTok and
Think: “big dk energy,” made popular in 2018 by Pete Davidson.
For the record: From a scientific perspective, a smile—no matter how sexy or smoldering—has nothing to do with a man’s…downstairs assets, because these are all assumptions.
In a recent TikTok video, user Stephen Brenland @stephenbrenland explained: “Only a certain group of men can do that smile, and it’s because they’re actually ‘hanging’, if you know what I mean.”
He added: “When a person has abundant gifts […] He had this particular smile that was less like ‘I’m so happy’ and more like a smug smirk, sometimes with teeth. “
It can be a “casual smile,” he notes, “where the corners of the mouth don’t even go up that much, but they go up a little, and there’s a lot of confidence behind it.”
Viewers took to the comments section to share their thoughts, with one pointing out that the man’s confidence can also be seen in his eyes: “It’s a smile from the eyes, not from the mouth!”
“Smile I’ve seen put on so many times,” someone else commented.
In another viral video, TikTokker @chicken.shakez can be seen smiling flirtatiously in response to a comment that read: “I noticed you have that Hong smile.”
Especially on X, many Smiling fans can’t get enough of actor Corenswet, with the platform awash with screenshots from his Superman press tour and sizzling GQ shoot, with many obsessed with his smile… and his impressive 6-foot-4 frame.
The 6’2″
TikTokker Lexi @wwqfd also posted a video of actor Evan Peters, who plays Tate Langdon on American Horror Story, writing, “He has a smile on his face.”
But before anyone starts taking notes from these internet theorists, experts say the whole “wearing a smile” thing may be more fantasy than fact.
It’s best to forget the age-old myths about hands, feet and even shoes.
Sexual health surgeon Dr. Rena Malik said on the CEO Diary podcast last year that you can’t tell if a person is trash by their limbs.
But she did reveal it there yes One body part that may provide a more accurate clue is the nose.
“There was one study – it was a Japanese study and they only looked at Japanese men, so there are some limitations – but they measured all these body parts and penis lengths and found that nose length correlated with penis length, not hand length or foot length,” she said.
The expert wouldn’t reveal whether there’s any research to support the link between the nose and the penis, but she’s definitely seeing more patients lately who are panicking about their masculinity.
