Shade Strapless Dildo Review – Surprising Results

I’ve always liked traditional strap-on dildos – I find them to be more secure and easier to control. So, I never really thought about using a strapless dildo.

However…

After BestVibe.com contacted me to try any product I wanted, I decided this was a good opportunity to give it a try.

This toy brand is called “S-Hand” And by BestVibe.com – So just type the name into Google.

This is a Chinese company based in Shenzhen that specializes in sex toys. Their entire product line appears to be silicone toys – which is good. Also, they seem to focus on making toys under their own brand rather than white label products which are often disappointing.

And, I know what you’re thinking…

Everything coming out of China is garbage.

This happens frequently, but Some Chinese companies are trying to produce adult products that are safe for the body and of high quality. Their Alibaba site also had enough photos of their offices, factories, and booths to give me enough confidence that the items were genuine.

Package

My gift came in a plain cardboard box – so no worries. It was discreet enough that not even the building doorman (who collects my packages when I’m not home) would have any idea what they had hidden in the office.

The box itself features the S-Hande logo and a nice packaging graphic. The back also provides toy size, graphic options, and company information.

Inside, it’s just as you’d expect.

Everything is placed in layers of foam, with cutouts for every element. I will say that the cutouts are softer and thinner than other packs I’ve seen – but that doesn’t take away from its protection or looks.

In addition to the toy, there is also a charging cable, remote control, instruction manual, and a customer “thank you” card asking for your rating or feedback on the product.

Material

The distributor and manufacturer’s website both say this is body-safe silicone. So, I did a burn test to double check.

Side note: Silicone will not melt under flame. It will either turn black, turn to ash, or not react at all. Any residue should be wiped off and the material will not be affected.

It passed inspection perfectly fine. I held the lighter for a full ten seconds and nothing happened.

As for the ABS plastic part, that only refers to the remote control.

This is where things start to get interesting.

I’ve always been against strapless dildos because they seem so unsafe—like they could slide out at any moment. So when I finally used it on my partner (several times over the course of a few days), I was surprised to find that it stayed in place perfectly.

1. The part that is inserted into the vagina is very comfortable, and the slender “neck” part A good balance between flexibility and firmness.

It’s easy to clean – there are no exposed parts to worry about water getting in, so you can play with the water as much as you want. I just used mild soap and warm water.

However, I would like to point out that You need to feel along the toy to make sure you don’t miss any bodily fluids. I thought I cleaned everything well the first time, but when it dried I saw a white film.

I would like to add one more thing The toy and the remote control are charged using the same cable (I like this because it means I don’t have to worry about dual wires or tiny batteries.) Plus, the charging connector is magnetic but sturdy enough that it won’t slip off when placed on a toy or remote.

As you can see, the interior is very finely textured.

First, be sure to use plenty of lubricant. If you’re having anal sex, be sure to reapply (only use water-based lubricants when using silicone toys).

This toy also has a slight learning curve – Especially if you’re used to strap-ons or have never used a wearable dildo in the bedroom. You’ll need to experiment with different positions (and even change the way your body tilts in the same position) to find the one that works best for you.

Final Verdict

I didn’t expect this product to surpass my regular strap-on and become the number one in my anal sex toy collection – but it has. Its main advantage is that it vibrates (which many strap-on dildos don’t). I’m also a bit of a power queen (and so is my partner), so we’re very happy with it.

My partner also said it felt “different” than our other anal toys (vibrating or otherwise) and was more pleasurable. He loved it.

And considering all this costs less than fifty dollars, I think this was a great purchase. I highly recommend it.
