Sex and porn addiction are not caused by drug abuse

Happiness exists where we find it, but seldom where we seek it.
Sometimes drug users, especially those abusing cocaine, methamphetamine, and other stimulant/party drugs, become hypersexual when they are high—especially when they mix Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, or other erection-enhancing drugs in the mix. However, this does not mean these people are sex addicts or porn addicts. If the hypersexual behavior disappears when the drug use ends, then a diagnosis of sex or porn addiction may not be appropriate. However, if the hypersexual behavior persists, then the person is likely addicted to sex or porn.
