Selfish boyfriend secretly resigns – and then expects

A woman’s boyfriend didn’t tell her he quit-and then accused her of not wanting to pay the full rent they had split when there was no support.

The frustrated girlfriend went to the R/AITA_WIBTA_PUBLIC REDDIT forum to vent her situation-has been deleted since then.

She explained how she and her boyfriend lived together and allocated the rent to 50/50. While things seemed good at home and playboy-the initial poster started to notice that her man was more home than usual, especially when he was supposed to be at work.

“Until a few weeks ago, everything was fine,” she wrote, asking him what happened, and he secretly replied that he “want to have a break.”

The OP must understand the boyfriend’s impulsive decision in order to quit from a mutual friend.

“I asked him directly, yes, it turned out he was just resigning. There was no notice, no conversation with me. His reason was that he felt burned and needed to reset.”

“I don’t sympathize with this at all, but I think quitting without plans, or at least talking to someone you live with is a huge red flag,” her post reads.

To make this worse – the irrational boyfriend expects the OP to bear the financial burden of the couple’s living conditions when choosing to lose his job, and calls her “unsupportive” and “selfish” when she refuses.

“I told him I couldn’t do it. I worked full time, paid my own bills, and I couldn’t carry both of us, especially without the brain,” the OP wrote.

“It’s time for him to move out and find someone who endures his nonsense (like his mom). You thought you had a relationship with an adult, but it turns out he’s just a boy looking for a sugar mom. He’s just the fact that he’s resigning.

“Start paying the bills, I promise he will never ‘fix things’ and you will always hide his stupidity.

“Get out of that boy. If he wants to share the financial situation, he should get married.

This is not the first time the Internet has followed an irrational person.

A hardworking girlfriend shared on the R/AITA Subreddit forum that she and her fiancé also split everything into 50/50, and came home when she asked if they could hire cleaning services regularly every weekdays-her boyfriend refused.

“When we first moved in, I was treated with most of the cleaning and cooking…but after months of work, juggling with housework and cooking, and sometimes even during meetings – I was completely burned. Totally.”

She came up with the idea for this cleaning service, but “he [her fiancé] Really frustrated, saying it is not necessary, I am lazy, and I am trying to avoid responsibility for the chores. That made me angry. ”
