Review: Vulpini Design Sasha Catboy Dildo

Sasha by Vulpini Design is a feline-inspired, prickly dildo designed to fulfill human furry fantasies, featuring a humanoid silhouette with a flair for fantasy. I like a good humanoid shape, and like spikes and strong textures, so I’m curious if this will be just right, or if the textures will be too strong.

Design and specifications

Sasha is described as a “tiger, lion or cat boy” dildo. It is characterized by a slight bulge on the upper part, a row of smooth spikes along the shaft, and a prominent coronal ridge of spikes. The Sasha’s barbs are more prominent than most dildos; outward or downward spikes can cause production issues, and I’m impressed that my Sasha doesn’t seem to have any flaws like air bubbles in the tip. The design is noticeably different from my other human feline dildo, the Neotori Finn.

The medium-sized Sasha easily fits my preferred specifications, with a maximum girth of 2.1 inches diameter/6.3 inches circumference. Medium hardness 00-50 makes it nice and sturdy, but with some pinching.

I asked for my Sasha to be a custom ombre color, from pink gold at the tips (light pink with gold glitter) to misty lavender (bluish-purple with blue glitter) at the base. Vulpini Designs does a great job with the fade and mine was gorgeous and reminded me of the sky at dawn. Even though the finish of the toy is close to matte and not very shiny, the shimmer is nice.

Sasha brought a beautiful purple canvas bag with the Vulpini Design logo printed on it. It’s sturdier than cotton bags and has less lint. I love light purple, so this bag was a real surprise. (Plus, it matches the dildo.)

Prices start at $90 for the medium Sasha, with custom two-tone gradients available for $105. Additional customization options are also available and you can contact Vulpini Design to discuss options not listed on the website before purchasing. Vulpini Design currently offers free shipping on orders totaling $50 or more.

In use (vagina)

Sasha looks scary, but is actually much gentler than she looks. I’d mark this on the lower end of the texture scale: most of the spikes are subtle in use, and the spikes on the head aren’t very thin either.

The coronal ridge is prominent so I can feel my head popping in and out. If I’m not 100% warmed up, the spikes on the head can be pretty intense at the entrance and they can irritate my back wall a little, but lose some of their intensity on the inside. I continued to feel the sensation deeper into my head due to the prominence of the ridges, but it actually wasn’t as intense as the smooth ridges due to the rounded spikes interrupting the edge shape.

The spikes on the bottom are my favorite. I got a great feel along the ridge when that side was against my front wall. The swell pushes this texture onto my front wall for consistent stimulation, so I get just the right amount of textured pressure that I like.

I can’t really define most of the other spikes being used. If I noticed, they felt like a broad sensation from a series of spikes. They can feel a little stingy when I’m not fully warmed up – probably uncomfortable but not painful – but adding more lube cushions the texture and takes away the stinging. I tend to use less lube because I like the feeling of a little tingling.

Since most textures are less intense, I usually turn the dildo so that its underside is facing the front wall so I can feel the most prominent spikes.

Sasha’s filling is comforting and the gentle expansion on top is subtle but satisfying. It’s not as locked in as a strong swell, and the swell isn’t something I actively notice, but the dynamic girth changes exactly how much stretch I feel at different points on the dildo. The size and firmness of my Sasha was perfect for my taste in terms of satiety.

The ball is easy to hold and supports the shaft well. I can grab the other side of the base, but there’s very little to maneuver on that side, so it’s not ideal if I want to get rough or fast, especially if I’m using a lot of lube. If I want to use it with the coronal ridge facing the front wall, I more or less need to grab the entire base, which is a little awkward, but given the narrow profile of the base, it’s not too difficult.

The lack of curves makes it nearly impossible for Sasha to angle her in a way that increases pressure on my lower front wall to stimulate my G-spot. Adding curves (which I suspect might make production difficult due to the spikes) or a more prominent bulge (especially along the base) would be the cherry on top of this toy.

Comprehensive

The Sasha is a fierce-looking, feline-inspired fantasy dildo that’s actually more approachable than it looks. This may be a good thing if you like low to medium texture, although it may not satisfy those looking for a spiky, intense texture. The prominent coronal ridge and spike line at the base are very nice, with a slight ridge to complement them.

For those interested in human feline fantasies, Sasha is a great design that straddles the line between human and furry without leaning too strongly into either. It’s customizable to boot, with enough options to match a character or beast.

It doesn’t quite hit my sweet spot, as I tend toward stronger textures and stronger curves, but it’s a solid dildo with some interesting aspects and I love how gorgeous my results are.
