A “voice-commanded”, pressure-sensing, temperature-reading rabbit vibrator. Really?? Read on for my Honey Play Box Oly 2 review!

Design
The Honey Play Box Oly 2 is a dual-stimulation vibrator. A bulbous shaft targets your G-spot while an external nub wraps around to stimulate your clitoris. It’s essentially a wearable rabbit — I can walk around wearing this.
Dual stimulation vibrators aren’t new, but this one promised it was packed with next-gen features I haven’t actually seen before.
According to the site description, using the App, you can use voice commands to control this toy. What??? Honestly, in all my years of reviewing, a voice-controlled vibrator has never landed on my desk.
But first, the basics.
The Honey Play Box Oly 2 is made up of two parts:
- the internal vibrating shaft, which is bulbous and curved towards your G-spot; and
- the external vibrator, which curves up around your pubic bone to your clitoris.
It’s also waterproof, rechargeable, and coated in silky smooth silicone.
The Oly 2 comes in 3 colours: Mint Green (pictured here), Florescent Green, and Pale Pink. The Mint Green tone is more like a breezy turquoise, and it’s beautiful.
How to Use the Oly 2
The Honey Play Box Oly 2 can be controlled via its button and via App.
Press the power button for 2 seconds to turn it on. Keep pressing it to cycle through the 9 vibration modes. To turn it off, press and hold the power button again for 2 seconds.
Use the App (Android | iOS) to unlock more features (ie, there’s a voice-activation mode and a pressure-sensing mode. You can also have a long-distance partner control it, you can sync your Oly to your music, and you can customize vibration patterns). I always prefer physical buttons, but I downloaded the App for testing purposes — it connected to my toy easily and I didn’t have any issues controlling it while wearing it.
Packaging
The Honey Play Box Oly 2 has lovely packaging. When you remove the stylish pink sleeve, you find a white cardboard box with pink accents. Lift the lid to find the Oly 2 nestled in black foam.
All in all, you receive the Oly 2, a USB charging cable, a user manual, an app manual, and a large tan-coloured drawstring storage pouch. The pouch is plenty big enough to store everything, which I appreciate.
Material and Care
The Honey Play Box Oly 2 is made from Silicone making this a bodysafe toy. The silicone has a creamy, matte finish that feels soft and luxe.
The Oly2 is IPX7 waterproof, so you can take it into the shower and clean it easily.
To clean, I rinse the whole thing in warm, soapy water before and after each use.
If you’d like to add lubricant, Honey Play Box carries their own water-based lubricants.
To charge, attach the magnetic end of the USB charging cable (included) to the two silver pins at the bottom. Connect that to your computer or a USB wall adapter. A full charge takes approx 2 hours and gives you up to 1.5 hours of playtime.
My Experience with the Honey Play Box Oly 2
The Honey Play Box Oly 2 is a decent vibrator to start with, before even considering the App’s features. Though I do have a few gripes.
The vibration is strong. Buzzy, but strong, so I was personally able to enjoy orgasms with this vibe. It’s also fairly quiet, so if you have flatmates you don’t need to worry about them overhearing you through closed doors.
The G-spot shaft is bulbous enough to easily find my G-spot, and I love that the clitoral arm is long enough to reach my clitoris (a smidge over 1.75″).
I find myself annoyed at the flexible joint between the G-spot arm and the base — it flexes so that it can be comfortable, but this flexibility limits any pressure on your G-spot and clitoris. I found myself needing to press it firmy against my clitoris to maintain the kind of pressure I need for orgasm.
But the Honey Play Box Oly 2‘s big selling point is its App capabilities, so let’s dive into those.
My thoughts on the Honey Play Box App
To use the App, you need to download it and register an account. You then set your sex (male or female, which is unnecessary ugh), and choose a nickname. From there, you can scan for your new device. It located Oly 2 within seconds. Within the App, there’s lots to explore.
- There’s the basic controls, where you can individually set the strength of the G-spot shaft had the clitoral vibe.
- There’s “free-touch” mode, where you can individually control the motors using little cartoon bees on the screen, which is cute.
- There’s music mode, which is where the Oly starts listening for sounds.
If you press the mic button, the App converts any sounds from your voice into vibrations. It only inputs any sound and turns it into vibration — it does NOT actually let you “control” your Oly2 with commands (ie, it won’t increase strength if you ask it to be stronger, so it’s not like a Google Home or Alexa device as I originally assumed). I also found this tricky — you have to speak quite loud and quite closely for it to register and vibrate, and it missed a lot of my words. In the Music Mode section, you can also have it listen to music in your room and feel the vibrations sync up with it.
I most enjoyed the pressure-sensing mode, which shows you how much you’re clenching the shaft — you can even set how sensitive the pressure monitor is. This kind of feedback is always neat to see.
I also appreciated that you can independently control the G-spot motor vs the clitoral motor when using the App (which you can’t do just using the single physical button).
There is also a screen where it guesstimates how many calories you’ve burnt while using your toy. It also tells you the temperature.
All in all, the App was neat, but I was disappointed by the misleading advertising. There are no “voice commands.” The Oly 2 is simply activated by voices (or any sounds) because it has a decibel (sound) monitor.
Honey Play Box Oly 2 Review – Overall Thoughts
The Honey Play Box Oly 2 brings some neat features to the realm of dual-stimulator vibrators. I personally felt their advertisements about “voice commands” were misleading — you can’t control your Oly 2 really other than to activate it to vibrate when it inputs any sounds (including voice). I was definitely imagining something more like an Alexa or Google Home or Siri.
Despite this, I still do think this is one of the more feature-packed devices on the market. I love that it has a pressure monitor on the shaft, so that when you squeeze your Kegels you get live feedback. I also think this will be a good option for long-distance play — having your partner control your toy doesn’t really ever get old. I also appreciated that the vibrations themselves pack a wallop, which is always welcome.
