Review: Fantasy Grove Utun Centaur Dildo
Fantasy Grove’s thick centaur dildo Utun takes the popular horse dildo shape and redesigns it to a shorter length while maintaining the characteristic flare. It has flares, loops and curves that make it stand out. This is a great option for those who prefer girth over length while keeping the design simple.
Design and specifications
Fantasy Grove features characters from the mythical jungle, with products ranging from highly detailed fantasy designs to beginner-friendly, harness-compatible models. They specialize in creating unique colors and crafting masterpieces using difficult techniques that require a lot of skill. I’ve reviewed their popular harness-friendly Daybreak dildo, the pierced Jackalope dildo, and the G-spot-focused Changeling dildo, all of which I really liked.
Like many of Fantasy Grove’s figures, Utun is represented by a furry character: a gentle centaur with gorgeous hair who looks handsome and is perfect for snuggling. The art is gorgeous and depicts a beautiful scene of Wu Tun relaxing at dawn reading a good book. His figure matched the short, thick cock depicted by the dildo.
The dildo’s chunky shape, thick ring, and rounded features all give it a decidedly stylized look. As much as I love the feel of the skin texture, I’d rather have an overtly stylized design like Utun than a realistic rooster. When you hold it in your hand, it feels satisfyingly thick. The surface has a smooth, low-gloss satin finish that provides low sheen while maintaining moderate friction.

In the medium size, the Utun’s usable length is only about 6 inches, but the flared head is 2.5 inches in diameter (7.5 inches in circumference) and the inner ring is slightly less than 2.2 by 2.25 inches in diameter (7.25 inches in circumference). The average diameter of the upper shaft is about 2 inches (circumference 6 inches), and the diameter of the lower shaft is about 2.2 inches (circumference 7 inches).
My Utun is split durometer, with a nearly clear shaft of 00-31 durometer and a medium durometer 00-50 base (similar to my split durometer Changeling). The shaft is slightly stiffer than the typical 00-30 flex and is very soft.
The color is called “Prance with the Unicorn.” The base is off-white and the shaft is a delicate banded marble in pink, blue, purple, silver holographic and color changing. It is extremely shiny and beautiful enough to earn its name. I really like the banded marble like this, especially with the addition of untinted silicone to the mix to add depth and the “near clear” to make the untinted parts clearer. There is some yellow/gold color in the stock photo that I wouldn’t see with my own eyes unless I was in a room with yellow lighting.
Prices start at $105 for the medium Utun and can be customized via stock drops or through customization options. Near Clear is available for an additional fee and is not available for custom orders, so my stock cost of Utun was $125.
I got a great deal, though: Fantasy Grove was running a buy-one-get-one-free Boxing Day sale after Christmas 2024, so I got a free dildo worth $120. (Yes, they’re both soft, which doesn’t always work for me, but one of my favorite dildos that I haven’t reviewed yet is the Soft Flared Dildo, so I thought I’d give it a try.)

In use (vagina)
The Utun’s prominent flare and ring appeal to me – I really like a strong flare pressing against my front wall, and a nice inner ring for entry and exit from my entrance – but I’m really curious if these shapes actually work; small differences in shape design can make the difference between a good, bad, and awesome dildo.
The flared head is naturally angled, soft, shaped, and well lubricated, making insertion not as difficult as other flared dildos. There’s a satisfying pop upon entry. I wouldn’t say it’s easy, as the head is wider than my usual comfort zone and the round shape (rather than oval) can pose a challenge, but the natural angle of the head makes it easier to maneuver.
The Utun’s flared head gave me strong front wall pressure, which was exactly the flare effect I wanted. With half the shaft inserted, I get constant front wall pressure and some focused G-spot pressure without jarring pressure on the back wall. Even though it’s a softer firmness than I’d normally ask for, I could feel it being pretty intense. The feeling is strongest before I’m fully warmed up, and less intense once I’m warmed up.

Well designed inner ring: Big enough to feel, thick and round enough to be comfortable, but not thick enough to be challenging. Each thrust produced a sharp pounding at my entrance, but less intense than the height of the ring. The size and shape allow me to feel the ring, yet it slides in and out smooth as butter. This ring reinforces the underside of the curve, which provides extensive pressure on my G-spot when it’s aimed at my front wall.
Many equine dildos are very long, which makes it difficult to reach the inner ring. In comparison, the Utun is relatively short and has a girth profile, making it easy to reach the ring and feel full without using a foot-long cock. The girth can make thrusting a little awkward, but once it’s fully warmed up and has enough lube, it makes for a great time.
The ball is easy to hold, but not so much on the other side of the base. Overall, I think the grip is okay, but it ends up straining my fingers because I have to press on the middle of the base to push, since there’s not much leverage to hold the base in general, and it requires a bit of force due to the resistance of the thick inner ring.
I could easily get into a rhythm of moderately fast thrusts, feeling the head dig deep inside me and the ring slide in and out. It’s very satisfying. If I go fast and deep, I can feel my head being pushed a little deeper.
My favorite way to use Utun Just warm up with shallow thrusts to get everything I can from the head. After warming up, I turned it so the underside of the curve rested against my front wall and rode it slowly—popping the ring in and out, feeling it rub against my G-spot—while using the external bullet vibrator until I came.

Comprehensive
The Utun’s prominent flare, thick medial ring, and beautiful curves result in a low-texture, forward-shaped experience perfect for anterior wall stimulation and extensive G-spot pressure. It’s easy to find a good angle and stick to it, which makes it especially suitable for short, intense workouts. The low texture shows off the beautiful colors well.
I might have preferred the medium firmness of 00-50 so that I could feel the headstock more strongly after fully warming up, but I don’t regret choosing the near-clear 00-31 firmness; it’s nice and not too soft for me.
I would recommend the Utun to anyone who likes a solidly shaped dildo (especially the flare and inner ring). For beginners, I recommend choosing a size where the head is comfortable within your girth and not a challenge; insertion is not that easy. Due to the intensity of the flare, it should still be fun if dropped to a softer hardness than normal like I did here.
