If you’ve spent much time on my blog, you’ll likely know that my two favourite types of pleasure products are, without question, air pressure wave toys and wand massagers. Nothing even comes close to comparing to these, and whilst they have a shared focus on the clitoris, they otherwise couldn’t be more different. Often large and expensive, massagers contain some of the most powerful vibrations a sex toy can offer, and provide a gradual build-up over their broad surface area to a satisfying and, in my opinion, relaxed orgasm. Meanwhile, the small and frequently budget-friendly clitoral stimulator uses air pressure waves to create a pin-point “suction” feeling on the clitoris, creating an intense and tear-jerking experience that is usually over before you know it. So, when Eden Fantasys recently reached out and offered me the chance to review some of their products, I was blown away when I saw the Wonder, a toy that is both a clitoral stimulator and massager in one!
The Brand
Before I jump in, I wanted to first take a moment to introduce Eden Fantasys since it’s my first time working with them on a review! Based in the USA and opening in 2002, I have fond memories of browsing their popular website when I first started my blog. It’s now been quite some time since then, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they were still around when they recently got in touch. Whilst they used to offer a range of brands, these days Eden Fantasys almost exclusively stocks their own collection of white-label toys. This allows them to instead put full focus on the customer experience, implementing the latest technologies for fast and reliable service, along with their user friendly website. When shopping with them, you can expect worldwide shipping, with free delivery on all orders over $50 USD, as well as discreet packaging and billing. Plus, they even have their own rewards system, and a forum where you can discuss sex toys to your heart’s content!
Product Description
It’s no question that the crossover between massager and suction toy is what first got me interested in the Eden Fantasys Wonder. But, if you can’t tell from the photos, there is even more to love about this product. Not satisfied with just 2-in-1, the US brand has taken things up a notch, making it 3-in-1 with the inclusion of a G-Spot vibrator handle. Now, this is something I’ve seen done before, and typically I am not a big fan of it, with these vibrating handles always seeming more of an afterthought. But on the Wonder, there is not only dedicated vibrations here, but a curved ribbed design too, topped off with a tapered end for easy insertion. As for the other side, this works similar to the ZALO Queen, with Eden Fantasys providing a silicone cover that will determine whether you use the Wonder as a massager or as a suction toy. Without it, you’ll find a fairly normal, albeit very firm, wand head, with a hollow area outlined with circles that they call the “membrane”. It is here that a tapping plate, similar to the oscillation plates I’ve seen on toys like the Queen and the Lora DiCarlo Carezza, is found, which works alongside the wand’s vibrations to provide stimulation. Then, once the cover is applied, this area instead creates the air pressure waves for the suction mode, with the nozzle focusing the sensations. The neck of the wand is very flexible, and just below this you’ll find three buttons for controlling the toy’s dual motors. On the back is then a small hole for the charging cord, and whilst the overall shape is quite stylish, it is let down somewhat by the obvious seams and overdone purple colouring, which is the only shade it is available in. Finally, this toy is also USB rechargeable, made of body-safe silicone, and fully waterproof.
Packaging
My order with Eden Fantasys for the Wonder was placed on the 16th of February and it arrived on the 27th. The package was then 100% discreet, with no mention of the sender or the box’s contents. What was strange, however, was that whilst the other item in my package, the Vibro Ride, was packaged in a lovely Eden Fantasys-branded box, the Wonder itself was just in a plain white box. Now, I’m very accustomed to receiving white-label sex toys in plain unbranded packaging, but this dented low-quality cardboard box couldn’t be any less shabby if it tried, with the only thing on it being a barcode sticker that says “Adult Novelty. Not for medical use”. And considering Eden Fantasys list this toy on their website as being “premium” and ideal for gifting, I was most certainly taken aback, especially when I had the direct comparison of the Vibro Ride right next to it. Inside, I then simply found the Wonder, alongside its instruction manual and charging cord.
Charging
Charging the Eden Fantasys Wonder is easy since it is USB rechargeable. Simply plug one end of the cord into the hole on the back of the toy, and then plug the other end into a USB port. When charging the toy’s light will flash, with this becoming solid upon completion, and charging should take around two hours to provide 1.5 hours of play. Additionally, Eden Fantasys recommend charging the Wonder between each use,
Controls
Despite having two motors and three buttons, controlling the Eden Fantasys Wonder is easy and intuitive. This is because of the helpful symbols on the buttons, with the middle on / off button featuring a power symbol, suction / wand button featuring an O (or, at least, it’s meant to be an O), and G-Spot vibrator button featuring a zigzag line. To start, just hold the power button down until the light turns on, although this can be a little difficult to see as your finger will be on top of it. You can then choose either of the other two buttons to activate its associated end, with only one side running at a time. Both motors have the same ten modes, with three steady speeds and seven patterns, and you can easily switch back and forth between the two. Finally, when done you just need to hold down the power button again.
First Impressions
Turning the Eden Fantasys Wonder on for the first time, I was very confused. Because whilst almost everything else seemed to check out just fine, there was one glaring problem: where were the wand massager vibrations?! Turning on this end of the toy, the pulsing “membrane” plate certainly moves, but there is zero vibrations, residual or otherwise, on the rest of the wand head. At first I thought I either needed to check the instructions, or that I had misunderstood that the “Wand”-er was supposed to be a wand. But after checking with the instructions and website, where it describes the toy as working like “a classic wand”, I can confirm that the massager head frustratingly does not vibrate or remotely resemble a classic wand. As for the rest of the toy, the vibrations and oscillations are quite strong, although lean on the side of buzzy, which does also increase their noise level.
My Experience
Due to my above discovery, you’ll be unsurprised to learn that the Eden Fantasys Wonder cannot be used as a traditional wand vibrator. Thankfully though, I have had a much better time testing the rest of this product, and truly the biggest shame here is how the marketing has let down what is an otherwise excellent sex toy. Placing the oscillating head, without the suction attachment on, over my clitoris, I thoroughly enjoy the sensation. The only comparison I really have is the ZALO Queen, as it’s not as firm as the Lora DiCarlo Carezza, nor does it feel like a wand, both in regards to the stimulation and the angle I must hold the handle. Instead, it is more like a subtle cushioned vibration, that initially seems a little lacklustre, until it builds and builds… into a hugely satisfying orgasm! Next, I tried applying the suction head. This is a little tricky as you’ll definitely need two hands to attach the silicone cover, but since you also need to hold the handle in place, I have taken to holding it between my thighs during application. Once on though, this simple piece of silicone completely transforms the toy and the “membrane”, and it’s hard to believe this isn’t a fully fledged suction toy, especially considering it is better than many I have tried. While its three speeds aren’t able to offer the range I would like, it nevertheless manages to satisfy me, with orgasms coming even harder than without the nozzle attachment.
As for the internal end, inserting this is easy due to its tapered nature, and thanks to its curved shape it finds my G-Spot with ease. This feels great, although is let down slightly by the handle, or lack thereof, as at a time when I need to be able to apply full force in order to properly stimulate my G-Spot, I am instead met with the flexible not-a-wand head. Additionally, whilst the vibrations start off so promising here, by the third speed they are so buzzy as to make them no longer worthwhile. So because of this I’ve tended to stick to either the first or second speed when using the toy in this way. Overall though, both these issues are minor in the scheme of things, as this end still offers some great stimulation that has won me over to the idea of G-Spot handles.
Cleaning & Care
Cleaning the Eden Fantasys Wonder is easy since it is made from silicone and is waterproof. If you’ve just used the external end, then all that might be needed is a quick wipe down. But if things have gotten messy, or you’ve used the internal end, then you’ll want to throw it in some warm soapy water. Next, give it a quick wash, and I’d recommend going over any of the ribbed areas with a spare toothbrush. After this you can rinse it and then leave it out to dry, before storing it in a zip-lock bag to keep it clean, as the silicone attracts dust. Furthermore, make sure to not use silicone-based lubricant with this product, as it may react badly to the silicone it is made of, but if you do then first perform a spot test.
Final Thoughts
“The more features, the better” seems to be the mentality of most sex toy designers these days. And whilst I love a multi-use toy as much as the next person, very rarely do they work out. But for Eden Fantasys’ 3-in-1 Wonder, I’ve got to say I am impressed. Easily the worst part of this toy is just the way it is advertised, because from the name to the product description on their website, this is 100% presented as a traditional wand vibrator that can also do some other stuff. I do think the shape of the toy is also a little misleading, but I agree that for the oscillating stimulation they’re going for, the flexible head is helpful. So whilst they could have made it look a little less like a wand, that’s not really the issue here. And it’s such a shame, because if I had gone in with the understanding that this is an oscillator / suction toy that can also be flipped and used as a G-Spot vibrator, then this would have been a pretty much perfect review. I really loved both of the external elements, and they gave me some great orgasms. Plus, whilst internal vibrators aren’t always my cup of tea, I found the shape here convinced me. With all this in mind, I absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good all-rounder toy that can do a few different things, just don’t expect one of those things to be a massager!
