PornHub traffic plummets on New York City mayoral election night — but

Do it again?

PornHub’s traffic in New York dropped sharply on Tuesday night as nervous New Yorkers watched the election vote tally, new data from the site showed.

At 10 p.m., the time Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani took the stage to deliver his victory speech, the X-rated site saw a 41% drop in traffic.

Given Mamdani’s popularity in certain neighborhoods in Brooklyn known as “neighborhood corridors,” it’s no surprise that the borough saw the most pronounced traffic drops, averaging a 35% drop throughout the evening (6 p.m. to 12 a.m.).

Staten Island voters appeared to be the least invested in the outcome, with the borough seeing the smallest drop in traffic, down only 15% over the same period.

Meanwhile, younger voters were more likely to switch from porn to politics on Tuesday, with the biggest ratings decline among those aged 18 to 35.

Meanwhile, dirty data shows significant differences in election night viewing habits between the genders.

Men weren’t feeling so horny after the results came in: Traffic for men in New York City was still down 27 percent at 2 a.m. Wednesday.

In contrast, women have largely returned to normal viewing habits, with traffic just 3% lower than the female average.

New Yorkers browsing PornHub on Tuesday didn’t appear to be particularly interested in politics, and there wasn’t a big increase in election-related searches.

Instead, New York residents were interested in “big butts” – a term that saw the biggest increase in searches that day.
