Nintendo files lawsuit against Palworld developer Pocketpair

Nintendo’s purpose of this lawsuit is to request an injunction against infringement and compensation for losses. The reasons are as follows: PalwardPocketpair developed and published a game that infringes on several patents currently held by Nintendo and The Pokemon company.

If Nintendo wins the lawsuit, Pocketpair will not only have to cease all activities related to patent infringement, but will also have to pay Nintendo an undisclosed amount to compensate for any losses the infringement has caused the company.
