Need advice on using a Hitachi Mini Wand for the first time…

My partner and I have used a bullet vibrator during sex and she loves it, but we’re planning on trying the Hitachi mini wand and I just wanted advice on how to use it for her. I’ve read about how to use it in certain positions, but I’m mostly looking for advice so that she doesn’t get too sensitive too quickly? Because I’ve heard you can go from zero to orgasm in 2 minutes, haha, but I don’t know if she should start in the pelvic area and then move down to other positions as she wants? Also, should we not start using it before I penetrate her unless she just wants it? Or maybe start with the bullet vibrator until I’m inside her and then move to the mini wand?
