My husband said butt plugs are useless

So my husband tried a butt plug himself and he said it was “ok”. Came to me because I asked if I could add one to our sex life for him. I’ve heard anal stimulation is a game changer for men. He currently uses a T-shaped rectangle that’s pretty small, maybe 2 inches. Does he need a bigger one? A different shape? Isn’t that a game changer for some men? We’re new to this so advice is appreciated! UPDATE: I watched some dildo videos…and I’m more frustrated than I thought 😂😍 Any advice or favorite toys on this are welcome too.
