Mental ill people are good at this type of dating: Research
The saying of living a “fast life” is more about a person than their tendency to take risks.
How do you tell if your man is a mentally ill? Obviously, they have an amazing online game.
German scientists revealed that those with high connectivity rates on dating apps are more likely to be mentally ill.
Lennart Freyth, research director of the Institute of Behavioral and Social Sciences, at Applied Sciences of Applied Sci, Cologect collyper collogect, and study author Lennart Freyth, individuals associated with fast social media platforms such as dark three-in-one/twenty-minute traits or social social media platforms use visual social media platforms more intensely.”
The study, published in the journal Online Psychology, Behavior and Social Networks, explores the relationship between certain psychological profiles and success on these digital romantic platforms, which are associated with various mental health issues.
While previous research centers on the personality of dating app users, so far, there has not been much focus on what traits to predict outcomes.
“When I started researching in the fields of dating apps and social media, I delved into the theoretical explanations of our behavior,” Fres explained. “Because personality is behavioral tendencies, I do wonder: Why isn’t anyone getting involved in the most obvious elements of dating apps?”
To determine which traits predict sex in dating apps, he and his team asked nearly 500 dating app users to complete a series of questionnaires that measure various traits and behaviors.
Ask the participants if they were on the Tinder Date (the date scheduled through the connection app) and if they had sex with someone they met in this virtual winger service.
The researchers then analyzed personality and behavioral traits, predicting each result, using a validated scale to determine three so-called “dark triad” traits – narcissism, Machiavelliism, and psychosis – as well as attitudes to contingency, sexual desire, and previous sexual behavior.
The team found that although the same number of women participated in Tinder-Etate, men were more likely to meet someone through the link app, 66% of whom were male.
These online daily reports of sex tend to be young and have higher rates of narcissism, Machiavelliism, and psychosis. These dating apps Assassins also score higher in all three aspects of social interaction: more favorable attitudes toward casual sex, greater sexual desire and more sexual experiences
Researchers warn that these mixed pickup artists may be more likely to exploit and target vulnerable individuals online. “People with faster life strategies, especially men with mental illness and sexual desire, reported more mating success through dating apps,” the researchers wrote.
The results are consistent with previous studies claiming that psychopaths have achieved greater success in one-night stands and casual sexual behavior.
In contrast, these characteristics do not hold true for men who have not experienced online flights or for women in both groups.
However, the study does show that women who experienced more Tinder-syx were more likely to report satisfaction with their choices than female participants who did not.
The researchers speculated that these women may have already put more energy into the initial messaging phase and are therefore more likely to accept physical disappointment.
“Women who do sexual intercourse through dating apps lower the bar compared to women without Tinder-Sex,” Fres said. “We were surprised that women lowered the bar when they were dating.”
He added: “We think this is similar to the cost effect of sunk – after texting, once a date, further decisions have been made.”
Of course, this study has some warnings, including dependence on self-reported data. Researchers fear the results could be tainted by gender reporting bias — men may exaggerate their numbers while women underestimate their experiences.
So, how do you tell whether their female partner is a psychopath? According to a surprising study published in the sexual behavior archive, they have less makeup, one makeup look.
The researchers found that women who scored very high on the psychiatric scale were unlikely to wear lipstick, eyeliner, and blush in all social situations.
The study authors said: “These findings highlight the nuances of the relationship between makeup usage and personality.
