Mark Anthony LordHis own journey to spiritual awakening began in the “back alleys of life,” where addiction took its painful toll and masked the trauma of childhood sexual abuse and trauma. A critical moment came at age 24, when Mark entered a treatment center in Vale de Davie, Canada, where his counselor gave him life-saving instructions – “Find a new God and learn how to forgive, otherwise you will die.” – ignited his desire for life. A profound spiritual awakening set him on his lifelong mission.

With an unwavering passion for spiritual growth, Mark became a pastor and went on to found the Bodhi Spiritual Center in Chicago, which grew from a small group into a community of thousands. He later launched Living The Course, a global virtual A Course in Miracles (ACIM) community, and more recently 12 STEP CHURCH, a virtual global spiritual home for people in recovery.

Mark is also a successful author, with books including Seven Words: A Metaphysical Interpretation of Jesus’ Last Seven Words and Thou Shall Not Suffer: Seven Steps to a Joyful Life.

His unique combination of empathy, experience, and bold spiritual insight illuminates the path for those who desire their own spiritual healing and awakening.
