Lovense Spinel App-controlled thrusting sex machine – Girly

What is the Lovins Spinel Sex Machine?

Regular readers of this blog already know that I love sex toys made by Lovense, a leader in remote sex toy play. My wife and I lived in an LDR for over 7 years before we were finally able to move in together, and I recently dated a guy who lived 2,500 miles away from me, so trust me when I say: I’ve put these toys through their paces, and they hold up.

Spinel is the latest product from this innovative company. It’s described as an “app-controlled, multi-attachment thrust vibrating and heated sex machine.” As you know, a “sex machine” is traditionally a big, bulky behemoth that can push a dildo in and out of you at breakneck speeds. However, Lovense attempts to bring you sex machine level functionality with Spinel, but at a lower price point and smaller size than most classic sex machines.

Spinel is made up of many different parts that can be paired and replaced in a variety of ways:

  • one basic unitwhich powers the thrust and has buttons on it that can be used to control the toy instead of using the Lovense app
  • one “G-Curve” attachmentIts shape is designed to target the G-spot with its deep curves and wide, flat head
  • another attachment It’s straighter, longer, has some slight corrugated texture along its axis, and can be heated and vibrated extra (the G-Curve attachment cannot)
  • one “Clitoral Base” Attachment It can optionally be paired with any of the other two attachments, which rub your clitoris with every thrust
  • Detachable, angle adjustable Suction cup holderallowing you to secure the toy to a flat, hard surface, such as a shower wall or tile floor, for hands-free use
  • Detachable, angle adjustable deal with Handheld use

What I love about Lowens Spinel

  • Strong, fast thrust: If you like to be really tied up, you might like this toy. Its thrust is a lot of More powerful and decisive than products like Fun Factory Stronic (RIP). Whether I’m targeting my G-spot with the “G-Curve” attachment or massaging my entire upper vaginal wall and A-spot with the straight but gently undulating attachment, insertion feels great. Pairing it with good clitoral vibes results in intense orgasms, and this toy even makes me squirt. yeah!
  • Modular components: I love the customizability that spinel brings to the table. You can use either of its two penetration attachments, swapping them as needed, or pair one/both of them with the included “clitoral base attachment” to add some clitoral stimulation into the mix (although it didn’t work that well for me – more on that later). The removable attachment also makes this toy easy to clean—you can clean the attachment with soap and water without getting the base unit wet (it’s only splash-proof, not fully waterproof, and only when the charging port cover is open).
  • Various functions: The intense thrust provided by the spinel itself will be enough for many users, but it also has a heating function and a vibration function, though only if you use the non-bending attachment (the flexing attachment only thrusts for some reason). The vibrations are good: rumbley, with a wide range of intensity, and not distracting too much from the main event (thrust).
  • Application Controllability: Like all other Lovense toys I’ve tried, this toy connects quickly and easily to Lovense’s app via Bluetooth, which allows you to control the toy yourself or hand over control to a long-distance partner, among numerous other features. In the case of the Spinel, you can control the vibration intensity and propulsion speed independently of each other – however, if you use the “G-Curve” attachment, you can only control the propulsion, since the attachment does not vibrate.
  • Noise level: It’s surprisingly quiet and unprecedented for a damn machine. Usually they make excruciating whirring and squeaking noises, but this one sounds like a gentle sound dong dong dong Even if you adjust the thrust to high speed, it will be affected by the rotor of the helicopter in the distance.
  • Multiple ways to hold it (or not hold it): Spinel’s removable suction cup base works great and makes it easy to adjust the angle just the way you want it. It also comes with a different handle-shaped base for those who prefer to use the toy hand-held. I tend to just hold the base unit in my hand when using the non-bend attachment No Handle or base, works great too. The different options for these hold toys (or hands-free use) make them more versatile, not to mention easier to use for people with chronic pain/muscle weakness, etc. like me.
  • portability: spinel is Way Smaller than your standard sex machine, so it can be taken with you on sex dates, vacations, and more. I wish it came with a better bag or box to carry all the various components, but the box it comes in is perfect for the purpose. The Spinel is a great choice for those who want a fucking machine but don’t have a lot of room to spare.
  • price: For a fucking machine and thrusters, the Spinel is (in my opinion) pretty reasonably priced at $199. It delivers powerful thrusts and includes a versatile set of attachments and accessories, making it an especially good deal compared to other high-power thrust toys like the Hismith Premium 3.0 ($420), VVD Sex Saddle ($350), and Velvet Thruster ($255).
  • Turbo mode: Regardless of your setting, Spinel’s “Turbo Mode” instantly speeds up propulsion to 150% of your current speed. Normally I’m not a fan of this type of feature because the way it’s implemented it’s usually easy to accidentally trigger it, but in the case of Spinel you can only activate this mode by holding down the thruster button on the base for 3 seconds, or by tapping and holding on a specific part of the app interface for 3 seconds. This pretty much ensures that the toy only goes into “turbo mode” when you really need it – like right before orgasm, when it’s probably most useful.
  • Aesthetic: The base of the spinel has a light pink and blue gradient that I really like (the colors of the trans pride flag, anyone?). When it’s mounted on the suction cup base, it almost looks like a fancy podcast microphone…
  • USB-C charging: Most Lovense toys use a dedicated charger, so if need be I can charge this toy using the same charger I use with my laptop, which is nice.

  • Clitoral base attachment: Although this is a great idea Adding a clitoral stimulation attachment to such a toy (because, as I’ve written countless times before, most people with vulvas need clitoral stimulation to achieve orgasm), in practice Very There is a small distance between the penetrating part of the toy and its clitoral stimulator, so the clitoral part ends up hitting the underside of my urethra/clitoral shaft. Due to the force of the toy’s thrust, it hits the area very hard, which isn’t my jam, but may be someone else’s.
  • Too fast: Much of this comes down to personal taste, but Spinel’s lowest Pushing faster than most people can handle. If you like fast penetration, that might be great for you (I know a lot of people do!), but I’m someone who always says “Please slow down!” When a partner finger bangs me (for example), so I always like to have some slow but firm thrust setting on these things. I also discovered the pushing sensation of spinel less The higher the propulsion speed, the greater the impact – as with many other thrusters, you’ll start to feel vibrations after a while.
  • Sometimes it pauses: If I tried to push the toy too far inside me, or held it too tightly, sometimes the mechanism would stall, interrupting the rhythm of penetration. The toy will then try harder to catch up, so the next few thrusts will be very firm.
  • Slightly finicky settings: I recommend keeping the instructions handy the first few times you switch attachments etc as it’s a bit tricky to figure out initially, although it’s fairly easy and quick after that.
  • Problem with handle base: Try as I might, I’m physically unable to press the button, which would presumably allow you to change the angle of the toy while using the handheld handle – but, as I mentioned, I have a disability that affects my muscle strength, so maybe the average person would be able to do this. However, I regret not being able to use what would have been a great accessibility feature! Also, when you try to use the handle with a non-curved dildo attachment at the same time, the handle faces leave From the person being inserted – so it’s really more useful for co-op play than solo play.
  • May not be safe for anus: listen, you can try It…but I wouldn’t recommend it. Although unlikely, there is always a chance that the attachment can unravel, become dislodged, and become lodged inside you. Stick to vaginal use.
  • Long charging time: You have to charge the Spinel for 2 hours and 40 minutes to fully charge it, which is longer than most other Lovense toys (which makes sense considering the power of the Spinel push!). It can be used continuously for up to 4 hours and 17 minutes after charging.
  • Charging port cover: Like my beloved waterproof wand, the Spinel has a silicone cover that covers its charging port, but it not attached Affect the main body of the toy in any way. This makes excellent The cover is easy to lose (in fact, I’m pretty sure I lost it), which makes the base non-waterproof, so you’ll need to be extra careful when cleaning to avoid water getting into the charging port. On the plus side, Lovense does include a spare charging port cover in the box, in case you lose it too.
  • Only use the included accessories: Since there are some fuck machines (like the Hismith mentioned above) that let you use any brand of dildo attachments, it’s worth mentioning that the Spinel can only be used with the two attachments Lovense makes for it, at least for now. These attachments are 1.53 inches in diameter and have an insertable length of 5.29 inches, so users who prefer more penetration are out of luck.

final thoughts

I’ve been particularly fond of Lovense toys lately because they allow me to connect with long-distance couples as intimately as if we were in the same room together. My latest favorite is the Lush Mini, which does a great job of satisfying my G-spot most of the time… but there are other times when that spot craves some truly complete satisfaction. sexual intercoursein which case a powerful sex machine like Spinel can give me what I want.

Personally I found it a bit too fast and wished it had some slower settings…but Spinel has so It has a lot to recommend it, such as its versatile modularity, surprisingly low noise level, compact form factor, and convenience for those who have difficulty inserting a dildo on their own. It’s also more reasonably priced than many sex machines on the market.

I’ll be interested to see if Lovins introduces more attachments for spinels in the future. I could see it becoming a fan favorite, but based on what I know about the machine enthusiast community, I imagine some users would prefer the greater penetration that spinels can provide. Just a thought, Lovins!

But overall… Spinel is a truly impressive toy and will be the first thing I reach for next time I want to be railed at a distance.
