Today I will explore Twin Nipple ClampsThat’s right, the company has finally launched something for us in the Northern Hemisphere! Lovens Gemini Reviewwe’ll cover everything you need to know before adding these two trailers to your collection—from app features and adjustability to programmability and discreet public playback.
Then there’s the syncing features, pros and cons, helpful advice you won’t find on the product page, FAQs, etc. Basically, if you’re interested in buying a pair, this is everything you need to make an informed decision.
What you will get in Lovense Gemini
Lovense always uses discreet packaging (same as billing information). That way, you don’t have to worry about other people knowing your purchase – whether for shyness or as a surprise gift!
But once you peel off the regular outer shell (or carefully unwrap it like a madman), you’re greeted by the actual Lovense packaging. This fairly sturdy box has a sturdy foam cutout inside, which all of their toys have. This is to protect the product during shipping (or even storage, if you’re so inclined). And then there’s…
- Satin Storage Bag
- Lovense User Manual
- Magnetic USB charging clip
- Nylon necklace with clip
- Optional bra clip
- Gemini Vibrating Nipple Clamps
How to use Gemini Nipple Clamps
There are three ways to use this toy…
- Just a toy – Simply clamp the nipple with an alligator clip.
- Using a clamp – The toy comes with a clear plastic shell and has a small clip on the back that attaches to the center part of your bra.
- Wear a necklace – Using a black nylon cord, loop it around your neck and clip the small hook to the loop portion at the top of the toy.
While the latter two types of clips are meant to ensure that the toy does not fall out during public play, they can also be used in the bedroom. As for the actual clips, If you’re not sure which pressure point you’d like, you can do what I did.
“How to Use Nipple Clamps” – The Easiest Guide Ever…
I turned the screw on the top until the toy opened wide enough to fit my nipple in. Then I slowly turned the screw in the other direction to lower the clamp to a pressure point that was acceptable to me.
notes: Stand up and move around More pressure is needed to keep the nipple clamp in place Instead of lying down and just enjoying the feeling.
My Lovense Gemini Review – Personal Experience
The first thing I noticed about the Gemini was that the clips and center engine looked a bit bulky. However…
If you look at other vibrating nipple clamps, you’ll notice that they aren’t too small either. And since Lovense is a brand that promises to deliver big things, it makes sense that their version would be a bit larger. This includes the upper part of the actual clamp (since there needs to be room for the vibrating mechanism). Whether this is a plus or minus is entirely up to the individual. As for me, I really don’t care because I won’t be using them in public.
After installing the clamps to my preferred pressure, I opened them up.
Lively atmosphere (Which I expected – again, it’s impossible to get deep, rumbling vibrations with nipple clamps). It felt really good. I even liked the patterns (and I’m not usually a pattern kind of girl). If I gave myself enough time, I can imagine myself getting pretty close to a nipple orgasm with the Gemini (yes, I’m one of those people).
All in all, I really like the feel of this vibrator. This toy also gets extra points for being able to control each nipple vibrator individually. It’s awesome! I can really imagine it being used for some awesome edging play.
I didn’t have a partner to test the sync feature with, but I did have a Nora. So I fiddled with the feature a bit. It worked as intended, and I can see how it would be fun for couples or (like me) to pair them together for single player play (which is awesome)
As for the bra clip, I foresee people being divided on this.
The optional clip-on shell is more secure over traditional bras (where the underwire sits between the breasts). I tested it on my Sloggi and a regular sports bra, and the material was too thin to hold the center section of the toy in place. I’d imagine a bralette or similar would have the same problem. Also, with these types of bras, the center section of the toy sits too far out to be used in public.
notes: I’m also a B cup and tested it on my “fashion going out bra” just for reference. The center section of the traditional bra is more reinforced and it’s deeper inset, so it’s easier to clip on.
Next up is the optional necklace – which I really don’t like at all.
First of all, the nylon cord looks and feels cheap (especially for a brand that positions itself as high-end). The solution to the necklace’s adjustability is also a simple black bead that you use to pull the cord down. Again – cheap and not a good look.
The way this “necklace” is attached to the central part of the Gemini is with a simple metal hook – just like a regular necklace you’d see in a budget store. I’m really sad about this because it’s easy to tell at a glance that this hook is cheap… and therefore contains a certain percentage of nickel. This means that for someone like me who is allergic to nickel, it may not be a good fit.
However, if you are like me and you are also picky about this, then Buy your own “necklace” or use a full set of “nipple clamp jewelry” to secure it.
Gemini is suitable for cautious public performance
My main impression of the Gemini is that if you want to use them discreetly in public, you can’t wear them under anything tight or very revealing if you’re not planning on wearing a bra. The shell and clips will be very noticeable. Well, unless you’re going to a sex club or something like that, this won’t matter at all.
I tested them with some regular padding under a push up bra and they hid it pretty well. So, as long as you wear the right underwear, you can have a lot of fun.
However, since they are not quiet, it is better to go somewhere where there is at least some noise. Like walking in the park, walking on the street, walking in a club, etc.
Lovense Gemini FAQ
Of course! You can use Lovense Vibrating Nipple Clamps As part of foreplay, during intercourse, in conjunction with masturbation, etc. Pair it with additional nipple stimulation in any way you wish.
Yes. You can control the vibration via button presets (low/medium/high), control vibration fluctuations via the app, or reprogram the vibration presets to your preferred level. This means that if the manufacturer’s “high” vibration setting is too much, you can choose a lower vibration level, etc.
Depending on the vibration level, you can expect 1.5 to 2 hours of continuous use. For example, a “high” vibration will drain the battery faster. This is normal for any sex toy.
The clamps have an IPX6 waterproof rating, which means you can’t submerge them in water. But they can withstand cleaning and splashing. Showering should be fine, but they’re not waterproof.
Gemini is specially formulated for nipples. Lovense does not recommend its use for any other purpose.
Yes, the Gemini has a very unique feature. You can sync them with the Nora, Max 2, or Calor. This means that no matter which of these toys moves, the gripper will react. So if one of the toys pushes harder or slower, the gripper vibration will react the same way. This is great for Long distance relationship or long distance fun. You can see an example of this in the video below.
No! You can control each nipple clamp individually Through the remote API!
Additional Thoughts on These Vibrating Nipple Clamps
I can only share my experience as a B cup girl using Gemini bras. I think plus size women can use these bras easily. But, I honestly don’t know if the underwire length will work for women with larger breasts. Especially if they are going to wear them under a bra.
If you are unsure, I recommend looking at the specs, taking a piece of string, and cutting it to the length of the toy. Then, you can see if they work for you. If not, please email Lovense with your feedback.
Why?
Because 99% of the improvements to the second and third generation and above come from customer feedback. If you’re not happy with a toy, tell them. For example, I don’t like the nipple clamp necklace, but I’m sure they will upgrade the Gemini in the future. – especially for toys that cost around $150 (when it’s not on sale – but if you’re patient you can usually find great holiday sales).
Would I recommend Gemini?
Despite that one shortcoming that really annoys me (because I don’t have to use this part if I don’t want to), I would still recommend the Gemini to potential buyers – after they understand these points first…
- Are you a busty girl? Test the length of the wire with a piece of string first.
- Want them to perform in public? Make sure you have at least a semi-padded bra.
- Have you ever played with clamps before? Gemini is a perfect upgrade.
- Want to try some light BDSM play? This toy is still very useful for children to take their first steps gently.
- Do you have a budget?? There are always promotions and the prices will be more affordable.
Add in the motor power, Bluetooth control, long range control, 10k+ pattern library, and all the other bells and whistles that come with the Lovense Remote app, and the Gemini can be a ton of fun. I’d easily rank them as One of the most versatile nipple clamps.
