Overall, more female than male love addicts self-identify as love addicts. However, it is entirely possible for men to become addicted to love, just as it is entirely possible for women to be addicted to sex and porn. One major difference between male and female love addicts is the way they view and talk about their problems. Women are more likely than men to view what they do as relationship-related, while men often classify their actions as sexual, even though their activities are just as connection-driven as their female counterparts.
