Raise your hand if you remember having your own Tamagotchi. The digital pets that became wildly popular in the 1990s were small enough to be hung as keychains. In recent years, they have begun to revive again, with new models of toys constantly being launched, and as of June 2023, sales have exceeded 90 million sets. This time around, however, the Tamagotchi’s creators have come up with something different, and you don’t have to worry about it dying on you.

Keep your lips moisturized and your Tamagotchi tightly fitted

Introducing the Tamagotchi range of lip balms. These cute little jars are shaped like toys on the outside, but contain lip moisturizer hidden inside. The containers are designed to look just like the 1996, 1997, and 2004 models of the Tamagotchi line. In terms of dimensions, the balm measures 40.5 x 33 mm, making it perfect for slipping into a pouch, bag or pocket.

The taste and aroma are said to be inspired by flavors of strawberry, candy and milk. This product is soothing so it can be used on dry lips and to moisturize fingertips. There are eight different design varieties, but the original Electric Egg White (milk scent) and Electric Yellow (strawberry scent) can only be purchased at participating Matsumoto Kiyoshi Pharmacy and Cocokara Fine Group.
