Goodson moved to San Diego in 2022, the same year she received a text message from someone claiming to be a Hollywood hunk known for movies like “Point Break” and “The Matrix.”

The Reeves impersonator then asked Goodson to send him a $500 gift card to prove she was interested in him for more than just his money.

“I did send it but said, ‘I want to hear your voice,’ and when I heard his voice, I said, ‘You’re not him,’ and I blocked him,” Goodson told the network .

Later, however, she received a message from another person claiming that they were the real Reeves.

The alleged John Wick star told Goodson he felt “horrible” that she had fallen victim to a scam, and the two immediately began exchanging messages.

The widower said she quickly began falling in love via text message.

“He wants to marry me,” she whispered. “I’m lonely.”

Over the next two years, Goodson corresponded with the man via text message, but he always had an excuse for not meeting in person.

Despite this, the old man sent money, gift cards and Bitcoins worth a total of more than $60,000.

She also contacted strangers at other phone numbers who claimed to be “members of Reeves’ management team.”

In August, however, Goodson ran out of money and messages from “Reeves and his team” became hostile.

Then she realized she had been deceived.

“It was a real mess,” Goodson recalled. “It was unbelievable, I didn’t know what was going on in my head.”

Now, the senior is at her lowest point, living in her car and trying to get back on her feet.

Goodson said she had nothing to lose by going public with her story and hoped to warn others about the dangers of scams.

“Nothing has ever made me feel worse,” she said sadly.
