A new study led by female-led femdom dating app Chyrpe pulls back the covers on us, revealing the relationship between astrology and sexual desire.

Using data from nearly a million users, the study shows how astrology and sex are inextricably linked.

Not surprisingly, Capricorn is the least eccentric sign, Sagittarius loves to be nailed, and Scorpio truly loves to dominate and adore.

Aries is the first fire sign of the zodiac and is ruled by Mars, the planet of drive and desire. When it comes to kinks, it shows.

“In bed, Aries really enjoy cross-dressing, puppy play, sensual play, worship, and dominance/submission dynamics. For all of these types of sexual fetishes, Aries is the sign that most often indulges in them,” the study authors said.

Perhaps not surprisingly, for a sign associated with the spirit of “me, mine and more,” gift-giving is highly frowned upon in Aries.

Taurus is a fixed earth sign ruled by the planet of love, and they are deeply invested in touch, one-on-one relationships, and the pursuit of pleasure.

In kind, when it comes to kinks, according to the study authors, “Binding and edging are their strongest kinks. Taurus’ edging is 7.5 percent more common than other kinks. Consistent with popular belief about Taurus, they don’t enjoy obedience or puppy play as much as other signs.”

Taurus people are notorious for being possessive of people and things, so it makes sense that they would want their partner to be unable to leave them. Likewise, Bulls represent the smallest segment of people who are interested in non-monogamous relationships.

Gemini is ruled by Mercury and is the sign of extremes, curiosity, changeability and experimentation.

“In bed, Geminis are curious about influence play and lesbianism, and less interested in service and adoration,” the study authors said.

They note that less than 20% of Geminis consider dominance/submission to be a kink.

“If you think of cancer, you probably think of their nurturing, sensitive and loyal side,” the study authors said. “You can now add another trait: being really kinky.”

According to the latest round of research, cancer users report the highest number of kinks per user.

“They were also 5 percent more likely than average to report a foot fetish.”

Cancer is the sign of care and control, so it shows that Crabs enjoy more service-oriented quirks than most.

Leos will be the first to tell you that their love language is “all of them.”

Leos represent the majority of the app’s users, and while they’re not keen on marginalization, 10% are keen on gifting and chastity.

Virgos are the most common zodiac sign, so their kink silhouettes are relatively average.

“Compared to other zodiac signs, Virgos showed less variation in extreme preferences, although they were 11% less likely to have a foot fetish.”

Ironically, chastity is not a baggage for the zodiac sign represented by the celestial virgin.

Symbolized by the scales of justice and balance, Libra loves to fall into the extremes of dominance and submission when it comes to kink.

“Gifts, influence play and services were also above average,” the study authors said.

One question that Libra doesn’t agree with? Puppies playing.

“Scorpios are considered passionate, loyal and determined people,” the study authors noted.

“As far as kink goes, they are the submission/kneeling type. Submission and worship kink are most popular among Scorpios. Pegging and sensual kink are less pleasurable for them.”

Interestingly, as a sign synonymous with obsession and possessiveness, Scorpio is strongly inclined towards
Non-monogamous relationship.

Sagittarius loves freedom, is optimistic, and is the zodiac sign that is most willing to enjoy happy times.

“Nearly 17% of Sagittarius enjoy pegging. At the same time, their interest in submission, worship and sensuality is well above the global average.”

According to Chyrpe’s analysis, Capricorn is the least lascivious sign of the zodiac.

Sea Goats are the most monogamous of the zodiac signs, placing little emphasis on bondage but showing an above-average interest in the edge.

Innovative, intelligent, and independent, in general, Aquarians have little interest in domination and submission.

“In contrast, Aquarius is the zodiac sign with the highest foot fetish rate, more than 9% higher than average.”

In terms of relationship dynamics, Water Bearers are most likely to define their preferences as “figuring it out,” indicating an openness to both monogamous and non-monogamous relationships.

Ruled by dreamy Neptune, Pisces people are imaginative and highly suggestible.

Preferring bondage to worship or cross-dressing, they prefer sexual proclivities that test their limits and provide opportunities for spiritual transcendence through physical experience.
