Porto was expecting a “fun but casual” date until she arrived at the address and realized he’d invited the whole family, like a scene from a bad sitcom.

“I found out it was lunch…but at his mom’s house and the whole family was gathered together,” recalled the gym’s “Speechless” bunny. “I felt very uncomfortable because I was not prepared for this situation.”

Despite the awkward situation, Porto tried to stay calm during lunch, which was no easy feat considering “everyone was looking at me curiously,” she said.

“It was hard to relax with so many eyes on me,” said the social media star, who kept wondering what was going on and how she should react.

Out of courtesy, Porto ended up staying at the embarrassing event for a few hours.

“In the end, I thanked them for their hospitality and for being polite, but I was relieved when I left,” the mortified girl said.

After leaving, she asked her date about her painful first date thoughts.

“He apologized for not warning me in advance, and I explained that I would have preferred to know ahead of time to avoid discomfort,” Porto said. The experience ultimately taught her to better vet invitations, she said.

“Today, I think this was an unusual experience that taught me to always ask for more details before accepting an invitation!” she declared.
