I attended my ex-boyfriend's wedding - now his crazy bride

Here comes… ex?

A wedding turns into a nightmare when the groom’s ex-girlfriend is invited to his wedding, and the bride later accuses her of stealing her husband away.

The married 36-year-old recalled on Reddit that the pair “amicably broke up” after dating between the ages of 15 and 18, simply because they chose to attend distant universities.

“We’ve had a ‘Facebook familiar’ contact since college, we’d wish each other happy birthdays or congratulate each other on major milestones, but we haven’t had any other contact in the 20-plus years since. “Written before.

“About a year ago, I saw his engagement post on his Facebook and congratulated him.”

Months later, the 37-year-old married man messaged her asking her to relive his high school glory days and expressed interest in having a wedding in his hometown with her and some other mutual friends.

She accepted the invitation.

Fast forward to the ceremony, she said things were “pretty normal” and her old high school friends were “having a great time.”

However, things quickly went south.

“I woke up on Sunday morning and saw a ton of messages on Facebook from my ex-husband’s new wife about my boldness in attending the wedding and how out of all his ex-girlfriends, I was the only one who didn’t get through Test people,” the woman wrote.

“She said obviously you shouldn’t go to your ex’s wedding unless you’re still obsessed with them and that I must be planning to steal her new husband away.”

The woman first apologized and said she was just going to reunite with old friends, but the bride didn’t buy it.

“She responded immediately and stated again that no woman in her right mind and good intentions would think it was okay to attend her ex’s wedding.”

She remained apologetic and then texted her ex-husband to say she had no ulterior motives for attending the event. The man later said the invitation was “sincere” and apologized for cheating on his new wife.

“I left it at that, thinking it was over. A few hours later the new wife messaged me again complaining about how I was trying to manipulate her new husband and make her look crazy.”

She then sent the screenshot to her ex and decided it was best to block them both to avoid more unnecessary drama.

Still, hell hath no fury like an angry bride.

“Yesterday I started receiving messages from [bride’s] My sister said I poisoned my ex, poisoned his new wife and I should keep that information to myself,” the woman added.

“[I’m] Also told I could avoid all of this by knowing that I [shouldn’t] Attended my ex’s wedding. “

When the woman asked online if she was at fault for attending, she got a resounding not guilty verdict.

“Wow, this is crazy. So you go to a wedding with your husband, he’s your wingman, and you’re trying to rekindle your high school relationship…with the groom…on the wedding day?!” someone said Here comes the thought process of the bride.

Meanwhile, another said this was a huge, belated red flag for newlywed men.

“Hopefully it’s not too late for him to annul the marriage…his bride sounds…well, mentally ill.”
