Human Made and Pokémon team up for new collaboration

Human Made (in the style of HUMAN MADE) is taking a stroll down memory lane—and this time, Pikachu is here too. The Tokyo-based brand founded by designer and cultural icon NIGO unveils its latest collaboration: Human Made x Pokémon, a nine-piece capsule collection that blends streetwear craftsmanship with the whimsical charm of the beloved series. The product line will launch on October 11, 2025, and will be available through Human Made stores in Japan, Seoul and Hong Kong, as well as other online store. As expected for a launch of this magnitude, store entry on launch day will be by lottery, with registration open for October 8th and 9th.

The nine-piece lineup features everything from Pokémon-embroidered jackets to playful homewares. Standout pieces include a Farfetch’d-inspired one-piece jacket (complete with two loops to secure a leek), as well as a varsity and coach jacket emblazoned with the Pokémon Made logo (Human Made’s signature red heart pattern with Pikachu).

There’s also a heavyweight hoodie and two Pokémon Made graphic T-shirts (¥12,100 to ¥13,200).

To increase appeal to collectors, each Human Made store will offer an exclusive color variation of this T-shirt: red in the online store, green in Human Made 1928 in Kyoto, orange in Shibuya Parco, pink in Harajuku, yellow in Osaka Shinsaibashi, purple in Sapporo and light blue in Fukuoka, making this T-shirt a true cross-city treasure hunt.

The collaboration’s collection of homewares is equally charming. In addition to the costumes, there are also Pokémon Made coffee mugs (3,850 yen) and cushions holding heart-shaped Pikachu (16,500 yen).

Founded in 2010 by NIGO, the creative force behind A Bathing Ape and the current artistic director of Kenzo and Kenzo. FamilyMart — Human Made has long been known for its vintage Americana style, workwear-inspired tailoring and playful patterns. The brand often conveys themes of nostalgia and craftsmanship.

This is not NIGO’s first foray into gaming or anime culture. Human Made has previously collaborated with the likes of Girl, don’t cry and Inside. The charm here, though, was in the simplicity: The collection’s earthy tones and familiar silhouettes were balanced with subtle nods to the joys of childhood—transforming Pikachu and Farfetch’d into wearable pieces of pop history.
