Yet, every time I hung out with friends or family, obesity was an issue. Outside of work, most people I interacted with led active lifestyles and enjoyed participating in various sports activities, which was clearly not what I was interested in at the time. I was always the last person in the group to finish something (assuming I agreed to start it in the first place).

After several years of being the fattest, slowest person I knew, I finally realized that I had to lose weight and get my body under control.

Trial and error

Of course, my first thought is Aerobic exercise. Even though cardio was, is, and always will be the best way to lose weight, it’s pretty much useless if you don’t stop eating all the junk food I was used to eating my whole life.

After a few months of running on the treadmill with no progress, I gave up. I reverted to running from bed to car, to office chair, back to car, back to bed at the end of the day, and as time went on, I felt lazier and fatter.

This is when I stumbled upon an interesting diet that promised to produce results in the most natural way possible, without starving me or forcing me to eat things I didn’t like. I chose the Mediterranean diet at the time (although there are many other effective diets), which allowed me to eat regular meals consisting of balanced and light foods.

It was never easy but I managed to stick with it for a year. Needless to say, I lost about 30% of my body weight, which allowed me to incorporate more meat and fat into my diet so that I could finally get some benefits from the exercise.

Six months later, I was the super-stunner I had always dreamed of being. Thanks to a good diet, hard work, and determination, I went from a fat, lazy guy to a super-stunner in a year and a half.
