Hatsune Miku has her own train station
In preparation for Hatsune Miku’s “Magical Mirai 2024” tour, Mikunigaoka Station in Fukuoka City will be transformed into Hatsune Miku Mikunigaoka Station.
Nishitetsu Group’s Tenjin-Ōmuta Line has teamed up with Hatsune Miku and her Vocaloid partners. The campaign, called “39 Tenjin Journeys,” offers exclusive tickets, new train and bus designs, merchandise, hotel rooms, and stamp collection.

The Magical Mirai 2024
The number 39 is often associated with Hatsune Miku and is a number pun where the numbers three and nine are pronounced rice and Kei In Japanese, they are “Miku” and “Miku 3”. Fukuoka is the first stop on the “Magical Mirai” tour, so it is getting special treatment from “Miku 3”, with four shows taking place at the Fukuoka Sun Palace on August 17 and August 18.
Magical Mirai is a concert that combines 3DCG of virtual characters with live music accompaniment. Hatsune Miku was developed by Crypton Future Media and is one of the characters in the globally popular Vocaloid singing synthesis software. The tour will be followed by two more stops in Chiba (August 30-September 1 at Makuhari Messe Hall 3) and Osaka (October 12-14 at Osaka International Exhibition Hall 5A).


Hatsune Mikokuoka Station
As the train approaches the newly designated Hatsune Mikunigaoka station, passengers will hear an in-car audio message from Miku, voiced by voice actress Saki Fujita. New station name display boards are being installed and will display Miku’s name until August 31.
Fans can purchase special Tenjin tickets that come in a limited edition ticket holder featuring the main Vocaloid characters: Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Ruka, Meiko, and Kaito. The package is good for round trip from Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station to Hatsune Mikunigaoka Station. Only 3,939 tickets will be available for sale, priced at 1,390 yen.


VOCALOID Bus
In addition to the Tenjin trains, Nishitetsu buses have also received a Vocaloid makeover, wrapped in colorful character illustrations from the event. Special commemorative bus tickets are also available for purchase. The ticket is designed to be foldable, and pop out to reveal a bus wrapped in Miku. These commemorative tickets are also limited to 3,939 sets and are priced at 500 yen. The exclusive tickets can be purchased at the Tenjin Expressway Bus Terminal and the Nishitetsu Bus online store.


Seal Rally
Passengers should also be aware of the stamp collection event for this event. First, you can pick up a stamp collection sheet for 390 yen at the Zakkakan Incube Tenjin pop-up store inside the Solaria Stage shopping mall. After that, you can collect Vocaloid stamps placed at six locations in the Tenjin area. Each stamp represents a different character. Collect an optional extra stamp at Hatsune Mikunigaoka Station. After collecting all the stamps, present your stamp sheet at the cashier at the pop-up store to receive a free 39 Tenjin Trip Card designed by artist Cherico. If you collect extra stamps, you will receive a bonus card designed by artist Yoi.

Pop-up Store
The Zakkakan Incube Tenjin pop-up shop also sells original merchandise, including T-shirts, key chains, acrylic stands, posters and even soda cans.
The Solaris Plaza event space area will host various events and workshops until August 19. At the screen printing workshop, guests can make their own T-shirts by printing character illustrations with various fluorescent inks. The workshop fee is 4,000 yen. Advance registration is required. There will also be a free paper art event where guests can make a miniature paper replica of a Nishitetsu bus wrapped in Hatsune Miku. Hatsune Miku mascots will also make an appearance to interact with fans.
Partner hotel rooms
Fans who want to continue their Vocaloid adventure in Fukuoka have the opportunity to stay in a Hatsune Miku hotel room. Nishitetsu Croom Hakata Hotel and Nishitetsu Croom Hakata Gion Kushida Shrine-mae offer special collaboration rooms decorated with Hatsune Miku. Hotel guests will receive exclusive event gifts including acrylic key chains, stickers, and tote bags. You can also keep the room key with the illustration printed on it. Croom Hakata Gion’s cafe serves “Hatsune Miku” lemonade.
