I’m about to buy my first machine soon, but I don’t know if it’s worth the $100 price difference. The 3.0 appears to have a wireless remote, and no wired controller (at least according to the Amazon listing). The 4.0 has a wired controller with a display, and a newer motor controller that is “less frequent” and “more stable at high and low speeds,” supposedly putting less wear on the motor. I’m not sure what this actually means in practice. Does the 3.0 struggle or feel unstable at high and low speeds? Is the wired remote better than the wireless one in terms of being able to change settings or shut down quickly? If there’s no difference in responsiveness and feel, I see no reason to buy the 4.0, unless the 3.0 has a tendency to wear out the motor quickly, and the 4.0 fixes that. If I buy the 4.0, I won’t be buying any additional accessories, but with the 3.0, I can get the suction cup plate, extension, and spring attachment or Fleshlight adapter right away (although these are overpriced at Hismith). At $580, the 4.0 should at least come with a vacuum lock or suction cup adapter.
Has anyone used Hismith premium 3.0 and 4.0?
