Give up your sexual preferences and respect your wife

Yesterday, on XY Code, I advised women to choose a sex act they don’t enjoy and tell their husbands they won’t do it in 2025.

A post like this shouldn’t be necessary, but I know it is. That means I also need to address the other side of this issue with you.

Have you been wanting to have sex that your wife doesn’t want? It could be anal or oral sex with her on top, or leave the lights on. If you know she doesn’t want to do this and you keep asking, hinting, or complaining that it’s not happening, what message does that send to her?

This tells her that your sexual desire is more important to you than hers. You can say that’s not what it meant, but I guarantee you that’s how she felt. Regardless of why she didn’t want to do anything, she felt that way. If she thinks it’s wrong and you don’t, she’ll feel like sex is less important. If she finds it gross or annoying, then you still wanting it means you value your pleasure more than hers.

The only loving choice is to decide that you will never do that thing. Decide that your wife is more important than sex, and then let your actions show that is the case.
